"Is this Ms. Krith Hedge's friend Ms. Armelle Rowan?? I'm calling from the reception desk. This call is to inform you that your friend has been admitted to our hospital for an emergency. Can you please…"
Before he could finish the sentence, he heard from the other line, "I'm her friend!! What happened to her?? Which hospital you are calling from??"...
"Can you please stop by the SJ University hospital for a moment?" he replied straight.

Armelle reached the hospital within a few minutes drive as the hospital was near her place.
When she was about to reach the reception, a hand from behind approached Armelle's shoulder. It was her friend Krith, her look was frightening. She looked pale like a ghost, which made her unrecognizable. Armelle couldn't figure out her friend for a short while until her brain processed her appearance in the ghostly state. Armelle couldn't stand the sight of her friend; she immediately pulled into her embrace. It ached her heart to look at her friend in that state. She was so afraid when she received a call from the hospital as she kept praying to God, like never before, all her way to the hospital.
She cursed herself for not asking anything in detail about her friend to the person who spoke with her earlier. She was bewildered by the voice she heard over the phone, making her brain numb for a while.
Krith patted Armelle's back seeing her colorless face and her dark eyes. "Oh my!! I'm doing good babe. You see me right?? Don't you think I'm all ready to fight with Drey??" Krith spoke to ease the situation, followed by a sweet laugh.
Seeing her friend healthy made her feel better. All her suffering and missing about a certain someone faded as she got immersed in the thought of her friend and the unknown caller from Krith's phone. "You nasty panda!! Do you know how much I was frightened when I received a call from the hospital? I might have been admitted to the ER on my way here. But you look totally fine all in one piece?" She continued making Krith sigh.
"Are you mad over me for getting better soon? I don't think you are happy to see me healthy?" she replied with a frown.
"You brat. I was deadly worried over your health. You know I rushed over to the hospital without minding the speed limit post on the way. Although you treat me this way??"
Krith wondered what made her friend get worried over nothing. She was happy to get gifted with such a friend who cared for her like anyone else. It's just that she fainted due to low glucose, as the Doctor stated. She was advised to eat a lot of healthy foods and avoid junk.
"By the way, who brought you here? What just actually happened? Who called me from your mobile?" she continued hauntingly with a load of questions she failed to ask the person who intimated her about Krith.
Krith felt weak to reply to the bunch of questions. "Hey!! Hey!! Will you allow me to sit for some time?? It's just that I have got discharged now."
Armelle understood the situation; letting out an awkward laugh, she stated, "HeHeHe… it's just that I was much more frantic when I received the call. Shall we relax with some coffee at our favorite spot?
Reaching their favorite coffee shop, "COFFEE BEAN," they ordered a coffee latte and iced americano. The questioning session started as soon as they settled on placing the order.
Krith was unaware of how she was brought to the hospital. She knew that she had gone out for a walk and felt dizzy. Soon she collapsed on the spot and blacked out.
"I knew nothing of how I was brought here Row. I collapsed in the Park; someone must have called emergency service." Krith explained.
"And about the doctor who spoke with you, I was not completely conscious but just that I was conscious enough not to ask them to call my mom or dad, hehe." She continued letting an awkward laugh. She knew about the certain someone who called Armelle from her mobile. However, that person requested that she keep it a secret from Armelle.
Krith smirked, seeing the weird look plastered over Armelle's face. The sudden emergency call from her friend made her forget about the person she had been worried about for a while now. When Krith voluntarily mentioned the person who reported about her, Armelle's suspicion was confirmed. All her memories flooded back again, making her Nauseous once again, making her face long and pale.
Armelle's long pale face made her upset over her silly act. She understood the reason behind that face but preferred to remain silent.
"Row!! I'm all good. Nothing to worry about me, get back to yourself, Row!!!!" she screamed, turning everyone's attention towards them.
"About the person who called me from your phone. Did you happen to know that person before?" Armelle questioned with not much change in her expression.
"I'm not sure Row!! I'm partially conscious when the attending Doctor interrogated me about my whereabouts."
"Shall we go back to the hospital?? We can inquire them about the Doctor," she questioned, hiding her fear of getting caught.
"Shall we??" Armelle questioned back, making Krith tremble.
"That's okay. We don't need to go to that extent, gal." Then, finally, she spoke again with a few minutes of silence.
Krith sighed inwardly, finally feeling alive back again.
After their heart-to-heart talk, Armelle reached her home after dropping her friend at her mansion. She relaxed a bit to start with her packing to get back to the university dorm.
They want to return to their university to proceed with their project as they had very little time to start with the thesis once they finished the research part.
Krith and Armelle booked an early morning flight since they needed to start their journey again with their crew to continue their research led by professor Prof. Dr. Kay Han of the National Institute of Aquatic Science.
Prof. Dr. Kay Han is a renowned aquatic veterinarian scientist. He worked both as a research scientist and as a tutor. He was much known for treating acute infection among marine organisms. His research thesis served as the primary source of information for the research project led by Armelle.
Armelle had grown a great eagerness towards Prof. Han during the development of her project due to his mind-blowing works and discoveries. Therefore, she was glad to acquire the opportunity to meet him in person as a part of her research.
