"Melissa, we are ready." Akagi said as Vierne stood beside him.
"Let's do it!" Melissa said as her eyes started shining. They soon found themselves in the blank space.
"Now, the next job is to find Lict. Vierne, use your magic to follow your red string." Akagi said.
Vierne closed her eyes and pointed towards the north "This way.... He is there."
"Perfect." Akagi said and picked Vierne in his arms.
"W-WHAT IS THIS?" Vierne said.
"A faster way to reach him. Melissa, hop on." Akagi said.
Melissa sat on his shoulder.
"Can you really pick up both of us while running?" Vierne said.
"Don't worry about that. Just worry that you don't get motion sick and puke on me because then I'm gonna beat you to a pulp." Akagi said.
"Eh?" Vierne said.
"*Sigh* Oh god! You're stupid... Unfortunately, there's no vaccine against stupidity." Akagi said.
"Wha-aaaaaa!!!!" Vierne said as Akagi started running.
"WOHOOO!!!" Melissa shouted.
"I CAN'T SEE A THING AROUND US!!!!" Vierne said and suddenly Akagi stopped behind the rocks.
"Get down." He said and Melissa jumped down.
"I don't feel very well... Where's the bathroom?" Vierne said as she sat beside the rock.
"Vivie, are you okay?" Melissa said as she patted Vierne's back.
"How come I'm in such a bad condition?" Vierne said.
"It's because you don't usually ride Akagi. I'm used to it." Melissa said.
"Shhhh! Be quiet both of you" Akagi said as he punched Melissa's head.
"OW!" Melissa said as she rubbed her head.
"....Lict is close...very close" Vierne said as she got up and covered her mouth "PUA-"
"Still feel like puking?" Akagi said.
"Yeah..." Vierne said.
"Melissa....stay back..... And don't come towards him, it's an order." Akagi said as he took out his gun.
"Good luck, Milord!!" Melissa said.
"Vierne, where is he?" Akagi said.
"Right before us." Vierne said as they hid behind the rock and after a while they saw a shadow walking inside the desert.
It was Lict.
He walked with the head of a Demigod in his hand. His eye was covered with an eye patch.
He stopped for a while and turned towards Vierne's direction.
'SH*T! HE NOTICED US!' Akagi thought as he hid behind the rock and loaded his gun.
Lict threw away the head and walked towards Vierne.
But Akagi shot him in the head and he fell on the ground.
Vierne looked at him with surprise.
"....Y- You killed him-" Vierne shouted.
"I wish it was that simple." Akagi said.
Lict got up and the bullets from his head fell down as his wound started healing.
He ran towards Akagi and disappeared.
Akagi smiled, "You think you can beat me in speed?" He said and turned behind. He moved his hand forward and suddenly grabbed the air.
He raised up his hand and Lict reappeared.
Akagi had grabbed his neck.
"How?" Vierne said.
"I can see him running no matter how fast he is" Akagi said.
Lict grabbed Akagi's hand and dug his nails into his flesh.
Akagi left his neck and moved back.
"Tsk!" Akagi said as he covered his hand.
"Lord Akagi- Your hand-" Vierne said.
"Shut up." Akagi said and glared at Lict.
Lict again disappeared and so did Akagi.
After that, some sparks were seen here and there into the air.
'THEY ARE SO FAST! I CAN'T EVEN SEE THEM! HOW WILL I FIGHT?' Vierne thought.
Melissa stood behind the rock and looked at the fight.
Suddenly Lict turned towards Vierne and grabbed her hand.
"VIERNE! REMEMBER YOUR SILA WON'T WORK ON HIM-" Akagi shouted and Vierne kicked Lict's face.
"WHA-" Akagi said.
"Wow!" Melissa said.
Lict covered his face and sat on his toes as blood ran down his nose.
He got up as he wiped off the blood and glared at Vierne.
"I'm not scared of you anymore!" Vierne said.
"THIRD SPELL! FIRST FORM! VIVANA MUSICA!" Lict shouted as the golden walls surrounded Vierne.
But suddenly, he was surrounded by a fire ring.
"What is that?" Melissa said.
Jade appeared in the fire and covered Lict inside a fireball.
His shirt burnt in the fire. He stood there half naked while Lict was entrapped inside the fireball.
"Yo! Yo! People!" Jade said as he walked towards Akagi.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" Melissa shouted.
"Oh! Privet Uchitel~" (Hello teacher) Jade said as he winked at Melissa.
"Who allowed you in?" Akagi said.
"We are here too!" Jenet said as Kyle stood beside him "We'll help you!"
"Seriously, your mind is on vacation but your mouth is working overtime." Akagi said.
"Since it's not the class, so we are not student- teacher anymore! So we can do whatever we want!"
"Please wear something decent" Akagi said to Jade.
"Why? You gay?" Jade said.
"Gay? Sir, I'm straighter than the pole your mom dances on." Akagi said with a smile.
"Ha ha...You're just jealous of my amazing sila!" Jade said.
"Me? Jealous of you? Bless your delusional heart. What's there in you to be jealous of? I can only pity you." Akagi said.
"B-Because I'm way cooler than you." Jade said.
"Doesn't that mean that I'm hotter than you?" Akagi said.
"...Un... well...." Jade said.
"Where are your star spirits?" Akagi said.
"We left them behind. We don't want them to catch the curse" Jenet said.
"You know that they'll disappear if you die, right?" Akagi said.
"We know." Kyle said and looked at Vierne.
"What?" Vierne said.
"If she can be here, then so can I." Kyle said.
"You make me wanna beat the sh*t out of you. I'm a feminist, you know." Akagi said to Kyle.
"Feminists are nothing like you." Kyle said.
"Well, I'm a different kind of feminist. I'm a bad feminist." Akagi said.
"Shut it, *sshole." Kyle said.
Akagi didn't say anything but looked at the fireball which entrapped Lict instead, "You've got absolutely zero respect for your teachers, right?" He said.
"What? Don't tell me you're mad cause I swore at you?" Kyle said.
"I'm not mad you called me an *sshole. I'm just sad that you lack the creativity to call me anything else, you knuckle dragging, inbred swamp twat." Akagi said.
"I-I'm not that, you jerk!" Kyle said.
"Sweetie, leave the sarcasm and insults to the pros. You're gonna hurt yourself. Go play in traffic." Akagi said.
"But Uchitel" Jenet said "We wanna help you-"
They heard a loud roar and quickly looked at the fireball which started to take the form of a tornado.
The tornado slowly started shrinking and before they could know what had happened, Lict had already engulfed the entire fire tornado into his mouth.
"WHAT THE- DID HE REALLY EAT THAT?" Jade said.
He looked at all of them.
"It's okay guys!" Jenet said "Don't be intimidated! We are five while he is only one, we can defeat him-"
"Chances are," Vierne said as she stepped forward "We can't."
"Vierne?" Jade said.
"What are you saying? Are you planning to chicken out now? Tsk! That's why I hate working with girls!" Kyle said.
"Let's go guys." Jenet said and all three of them ran towards Lict.
"NO! STOP!" Vierne shouted.
"Vierne, what did you mean by that?" Akagi said.
"....His contract mark...It's not there anymore." Vierne said.
"Did you see it?" Akagi said.
"No, I felt it…It's not there" Vierne said.
"...Vierne, don't fight him today." Akagi said.
Jade ran towards Lict and made a fire tornado.
Lict covered it with musical spells and destroyed it.
Kyle used his teleportation magic to attack Lict, but Lict was yet faster.
They used their sila against Lict but nothing seemed to work out.
"Nothing is working against him! What do we do?" Jenet said.
Lict smiled and said "Now....It's my turn"
He disappeared and reappeared in front of Jenet.
"Fourth magic, first spell- 'Break'!" Lict said.
"Wait- Isn't that your sila, Vierne?!" Akagi said.
"No...LICT NO!!" Vierne shouted as she started running towards him.
As soon as Lict touched Jenet with his right hand, Jenet's body tore into pieces and grain sized fragments of his flesh fell on the ground.
Lict's eyes turned bright red as he looked at the mangled dead body and the blood.
He licked the drops of blood which had landed on his hand.
"This tastes awful." He said.
