Later after that, Masayuki and his group went across the estate with Hatori for a nice afternoon walk. But, while at Hatori's home, Masayuki couldn't help but notice a framed picture of a woman. Curious, Masayuki tried to get information from Hatori, but Hatori doesn't want to talk about it, indicating that he doesn't feel like talking about that topic. Momiji then responded by telling a story about that woman in the picture, who was actually Kana, Hatori's former lover, including its sad ending.
A minute later, Masayuki and Emiko are very emotional at that true story, much to Hatori's annoyance, but Hatori had to admit that as if he wants to be honest with Masayuki and Emiko.
"That's okay," Masayuki responded while wiping a few tears using his blue and white towel. "But I feel like watching an emotional movie."
"Me too," Emiko added.
"Honda-san, Emiko-chan, are you okay?" Yuki asked upon seeing their current state.
Finally wiping the last tear, Masayuki replied, "Yes, it's just…just emotional and sad."
"I hoped she moved on in life," Emiko added.
"I see," Yuki responded back.
Watching this, Hatori let out a slight smile, thinking, "This is like as if he was a son to me."
After some time, Masayuki, Emiko, and Yuki said goodbye to Hatori and Momiji before going back to Shigure's house.
Later, at 6 in the afternoon, after a brief rest time at Shigure's house, Masayuki and Emiko went back to their apartment home. At their apartment home, Masayuki was cooking a Filipino dish for dinner while Emiko was preparing the table. Not long after, they all eat up.
"Man, Hatori-san was scary," Masayuki commented to Emiko, "but he's actually a good person."
"Yeah, big brother, and his first lover had a sad ending," Emiko replied back. "I hoped she would move on in life."
"Yes, and that Akito-san must have been strict."
"You're right, big brother."
At the same time, at Shigure's house, Tohru found out what had happened from Yuki, and asked if Hatori erased Masayuki and Emiko's memories of him, Kyo, and Yuki.
"No, Miss Honda," Yuki replied back. "He didn't. He gained their trust in the end. Nothing bad had happened."
"I see," Tohru responded back. "Thank goodness."
"I can't believe it," Kyo commented. "I hoped he would get along with those two. I mean, those two are our allies against Akito-san and Tohru's stupid cousins."
"I had nothing to say against it, stupid cat," Yuki replied.
"Shut up, you damn rat!" Kyo retorted back.
"Now, now, you two," Shigure tried to defuse their fight. "Don't fight in front of this delicious food by Tohru."
But Kyo and Yuki looked at him simultaneously and responded, "Shut up!"
This causes Shigure to whimper like a dog.
Handa was a bit annoyed by it then, while Tohru smiled nervously at this.
Meanwhile, at the main house, at a dark, poorly-lit room, Hatori was having a chat with Akito, who had saw everything.
"So, are you meeting up with Masayuki-san?" Akito asked.
"Yes, just to make sure that they would keep the zodiac curse a secret," answered Hatori back.
"I see," Akito replied back. "But why would spend time with him and that girl?"
"She was Masayuki's little sister," Hatori responded back. "Her name is Emiko Honda."
"What a sweet name it was. And his name, does it mean, 'correct happiness'?"
"I'm not sure, but I'll ask him about it at the time we meet up."
"Okay then, make sure that happens, okay?"
"I will."
Hatori then left the room, sliding the door close.
