Later at the convenience store, Masayuki, in his store uniform, was busy restocking some products on a shelf, when Tohru, Kyo, and Yuki came to the store to buy something.
"What would you like to buy, Miss Honda?" Yuki asked Tohru.
"I don't know," answered Tohru.
"Then what are we doing here in the first place?" Kyo asked a question seriously.
"We're here to buy something," Yuki replied.
And as they think, the trio suddenly saw Masayuki restocking some shelves.
"Is that Masa-kun over there?" Tohru asked upon noticing Masayuki working at the store.
"I think so," Yuki responded.
He, Tohru, and Kyo then went up to Masayuki, and asked him if he was working at that store.
"Oh, hey, guys," Masayuki positively responded to their question upon noticing them. "Yes, I'm working here."
"I see then," Yuki responded back.
"Oh, you're just like me: working part-time," Tohru positively and meekly commented on Masayuki's work.
"Yeah, exactly," replied Masayuki happily.
And then, suddenly, the store manager came, only to see his employee talking to his cousin and friends.
"Oh, sir!" Masayuki responded to his superior. "Sorry for wasting time!"
"It's okay, Masayuki," the manager responded back positively and nicely. "I see you are talking to your friends, are they?"
"Oh, one of them is my cousin," replied Masayuki back.
"Ah, I see," the manager get it now. "It's okay. Take your time;" he then briefly left the scene.
After Tohru, Kyo, and Yuki left the store, at 7 in the evening, Tohru's male cousin came to buy something. Of course, upon seeing him, Masayuki, who was eating his store-bought dinner, became very cold and distant towards him. And upon noticing Masayuki being an employee, Tohru's male cousin gave him a cold stare at him for leaving his family, before going to buy something.
"That jerk," Masayuki thought in his mind in hostility; he then resumed eating his dinner.
