CHAPTER 2
I'm Pluto and this is my story.
Let's start at the very beginning, the day I was born. The day my mum's face lit up , her eyes went teary and unreal amounts of exhaustion was displayed on her face and she was smiling like I was the best thing that had ever happened. We were in a hospital room , just the three of us on the 12 December 2004 . That's one date I seem to remember , Like it's important or something.
So , I was born and it was seen as a good thing. I was something to never stop smiling about . My Dad had glimmers of joy in his eyes and my Mum snuggled me tight , close to her heart .
She named me Pluto. She named me after some 'planet' I have no interest in , because she thought it was misunderstood . It's known as the least important planet and she really thought I would magically change things , that I could do something to make the rest of the world believe you don't have to be what your label represents you as. Whether it's science that shows it or not. She wanted me to have an unforgettable journey. an unforgettable journey. Well I can tell you I gave her one of the thing's she'd asked for. that's definitely something I got .
A good thing ? well we'll come to that.
There I was , A small pale baby , with glassy eyes and rosy cheeks , just like her mum's , sound asleep , with her family right by her side. One . Small. Happy. Family.
