Cassandra found herself looking at the mirror but the person who stared back at her was someone she did not even recognise. the uniform that she had bought with her pretty well and was the only pair she had.
The pleated skirt was well ironed just like this Sky blue shirt accompanied with it. Her shoes were well polished and her socks weren't loose. She has pulled her hair into a ponytail properly. But the confidence that she always had was missing in her eyes if anything she looked nervous as hell.
She wasn't even sure what exactly was making her nervous the fact that she decided to mess with the most influential boy in the school on their first meeting or the fact that she was now going to be a scholarships student into and higher expensive school she could not even forget the fact that she had slapped Ryan hard across the face in front of the whole football team.
Cassandra still remember how she felt when she came back from the school after her scholarship test she was completely panicked she had decided to mess with two boys in one single day and the worst part was one of them was already aware of her past. Some part of her even wished that it would be just great if she did not get into the school she might have to go into a minimal school but that was still 1000 times better than living or every day torture after messing with the two.
She wasn't even sure if she was happy or sad when the letter of acceptance came from middle and high and even though her and asked her a few times why she wasn't happy when she was accepted into the school she couldn't find it in herself to tell her about what exactly had befallen her on the day of the scholarship test.
Now that she knew that she was going to go to the school she decided to do something that she learnt from her current enemy that is Xaviers. she remembered him telling her that news about something where you can find anything and everything so decided it was the time she gets some data on her enemies and know who exactly she was fighting with. If anything it made her more nervous and less confident.
Ryan was a normal student if your dad being hell ass rich is normal, But from all the data she could gather he was not really very influential which meant that he could not do more than maybe bullying her and going through the normal things rich kids did to the scholarship student, the problem was Xaviers.
Apparently she had indeed hit a nerve when she talked about Xavier's mom. The news channel did not even have a clue where the women was. Cassandra was not sure if the woman was dead or had left Xaviers But all she knew was that he currently stayed with his father and stepmother who had a daughter older than him which meant that his father was involved with his stepmother even before leaving his mother or her death. His father was basically the man who ran midland high, Every single supply to every single penny that midland high needed to function was sponsored by the Garcia family and messing with him had not been a very smart idea because it was not just about how influential his father was but how crazy Xaviers could get.
One of the news stated that Xaviers had once drove his father's car right of the cliff into a pool of water where it was later found out. The car had not been a regular one but a freaking Lamborghini. From the amount of experience she had with boys she knew that if they loved anything more than themselves, it was their vehicles so if he could get as crazy is driving his father's car of the cliff then it was only a mystery of what he could do to her.
A part of her even felt bad about bringing up his mother especially when she wasn't even sure if the woman was alive or not but later she couldn't help but feel pissed considering the fact that Xaviers had bought up her parents without a single regard of how it would make her feel.
she even considered apologising him for talking about his mother since she had grown up in atmosphere a lot better than him and behaving like him was going to just make her as bad as him but later realised it was best not to cross the path with that guy and let Him take whatever revenge he wanted to take from her so that it could let her alone and live in peace.
When her alarm beeped she realised it was time to stop worrying and get to the school. she picked up her bag and walked outside not before locking the door in the process and leaving just so that she could catch the local bus which would stop a couple of stops away from the school.
Affording the school bus was out of her budget and she definitely couldn't afford a vehicle so the bus it was. The pass was pretty packed considering the fact that it was a public bus and she tried not to get dirt on her clothes because she had only single pair that too was gifted to her by Audrey.
The uniform has been one of the worry is when she got accepted into the school because when she said that the uniform was expensive she was not lying. it would probably take Cassandra more than a year of all her savings just to buy the uniform but the other day Audrey had left the uniform on her bed and when Cassandra questioned her about it she said that it was the least she could do for her.
Cassandra then finally got down from the bus and walked for a couple of minutes before she could see the school. It was jamming with all sort of students and the amount of vehicles outside the school and their brands were fascinating. Cassandra kept her head down in order to avoid any unnecessary attention as she slowly walked inside the school hoping that nobody would notice her but her hopes came crashing down the moment she stepped inside the school and a bucket full of ice water was dropped on her head and that's exactly when she knew that it was indeed going to be a long day.
******
Cassandra looked up only to find a couple of faces laughing at her she anticipated one of them to be Xavier smirking at her but he wasn't there.
She could see a couple of football jocks from her last encounter and a few Cheerleaders on their arms laughing at her. Last her eyes landed on Ryan who was smirking at her.
The crowd slowly resolved after they had laughed on her as much as they wanted but that was not the case with Ryan who mumbled something quietly into the ear of a cheerleader on his arm after kissing her for a few moments as she walked out laughing at her and he started walking towards her.
It took Cassandra everything do not move back when he stepped closer but she kept her head up as he stepped into her close vicinity. By now Cassandra had realised that keeping her head down was not going to be the way she was going to get through the school, these people were brutal and if anything all she could do was be the fearless spirit so they could just simply leave her back.
Even when Ryan stepped completely close to her and bent to her level to whisper something in her ear, she fisted her hand but did not move an inch in order to avoid showing the fear she felt.
"If you think this is the worst I can do to you, you are in the fool's paradise" He laughed and now that he was so close to her she could still see that red print of her hand on his face.
The truth was Cassandra had expected a hell lot of overs things which meant that she was not in a fool's paradise and there was no need to reply him with anything so she just waited for him to leave so that she could continue with her classes as well.
After he did not get any reply from her he walked back a couple of steps and turned around like he was about to leave but he did not leave before mumbling something loud enough, which gathered the peoples attention to her even if it was only a few ones left in the corridor.
"By the way! I like your black lingerie" he laughed.
Cassandra gasped before looking down only to see her black bra peaking through her now wet sky blue shirt. The people around her laughed as she pulled her hands up to cover her chest and rushed towards the supposed washroom.
Standing in front of the now empty girls washroom Cassandra couldn't even help as she wanted to smack herself in the head. This was probably the most expected prank in the universe of existence and she had been stupid enough to leave the blazer at her home just because atmosphere wasn't cold enough.
A part of her even felt bad about the uniform which was now with ruined iron. She could only wonder how much Audrey had spent her savings just in order to buy her this uniform and she wished that Audrey wouldn't be home when she gets back so that she could dry this all up and fix the mess before Audrey sees it.
There was a bigger problem at hand the classes were starting in next 15 minutes and she was wet as hell. Even if she decided to step inside the classroom in with a wet uniform she could definitely not step in with her black bra peeking through her shirt and she could not think of anything that could help for her as she aggressively pulled out the tissue papers trying to wipe the water of her shirt.
A part of her wanted to run to the principal like a little child in demand for help but that too would need her to walk towards her cabin which was in a completely different building and that was like an option that sounded impossible to her ears.
Cassandra stood there a couple of minutes taking deep breath in but she realised that this was not a movie and nothing was going to come here and help her and she definitely could not afford the school calling her and informing about her lack of attending the classes So she had to do something on our own even if it meant walking towards a principal cabin in the black visible bra.
She picked up her bag and started walking outside only to find a couple of guys are ogling at her and girls looking at her with daggers in their eyes. She wanted to smack the boys in the head and then growl at the girls
"You want to be in my place be my guest! If you think I am enjoying your Boyfriends or friends with benefits partner ogling at my naked self then you are mistaken. Hell I feel like drowning into Shame and it took me a five minute peptalk to walk out like this just so that I can get to the principles cabin and get to my classes" she retorted mentally .
She was probably just outside the building when somebody got her hand and started pulling her.
She looked up only to find Xavier dragging her across the building, Nobody dared to look at them especially due to the murderous expression that was on Xavier face.
"What are you doing? Leave me" she groaned Trying to pull her hand out of his grip but that seemed impossible.
Xavier did not even turned to look at her or say a thing as he dragged her forcibly towards what she realised was one of the classroom. He did not even utter a word until he literally pushed her inside the classroom making her sprawl on the wall before punching a fist right beside her face making her afraid.
He paced around the room with his fist clenched and his grey irises on fire. Cassandra was still trying to get over the fact that he had punched just beside her head and his hand was now bloodied.
"What the hell are you even doing?" Cassandra couldn't help but ask.
