Having a crush is not bad, is just normal to every teenage girl to have a crush on hot celebrities and hot boys around them. But what happens when your crush ends up to be your sisters's fiancee. Watch out as my life twists and turns just because of a crush. Firstly am Ariel Miranda a nineteen year old girl, am in my sophomore year of college. Am an introvert who is into books than having friends and partying every friday night. Trust me my life is not as boring as you think, there is more life in novels than in real world. So i prefer fiction life than real life maybe because in fiction life everything seems perfect, from perfect life, to perfect relationships, marriage and just everything in it. And am single and a virgin at my age when all agemates have already lost their virgin, perhaps i will die a virgin but thats my life anyway and i don't care. Everyone calls me a gothic girl because all my outfits are just black but i think black blends well with my skin colour. I have one sister, Melanie Shannel whom everyone thinks is the true definition of beauty. She is my elder sister who is more into fashion and likes to get all the attention to herself and that is where her life and mine differs. I don't hate my sister is just that Melanie and i don't get along because of our differences.
Lemme tell you about my crush, Jason Thorne, a famous tv star, i swear if you could visit my room you could be astonish by the number of Jason Thorne's poster on my walls but since i like privacy, no one enters my room because i keep my keys with me. So in our family there is this ritual that when a girl is born , the boys family will book the girl from the moment she is born and her twenty second birthday she is given a letter which has a photo of her future husband because they were bethrothed at birth. I know you think my family is insane, yes me too i support you because what they do not consider is will these two be perfect for each other, and what if one dies before attaining the age of twenty two. But does my family consider that... there answer is no they don't.
So Melanie was eagerly waiting for her letter because her birthday had been two days ago. She wanted badly to know her fiancee when on my side i was silently praying that i never turn twenty two because i never wanted to get married to anyone but my one and only crush Jason Thorne. Jason was the true definition of handsome man, even the word handsome is an understatement. He was perfect,every girl's dream of mr right. Tones of girl were dying to be his wife even for a second. Just to a have a chance to be called Mrs Thorne was every girl's wish i being one of them. To be honest i have never met Jason Thorne in real life but have seen him in tv, i follow him in every social media platform. I usually wonder why he is single yet he can have a girl of his choice from million of us who are dying to even be slapped by him, the hottest bachelor of the world. How can a man be so perfect, i mean he has that angelic smile that melt your heart, his perfect abs.... Oh my God i think i have fallen for him, and yes i don't want to recover.
Today was the day when Melanie was going to meet her fiancee and as eager as she was, we were all happy for her. Her fiancee and his family were to have dinner with us then after that they were to plan Melanie's engagement ceremony. Melanie being happy meant one thing, the chosen guy was to her expectation . We had to go shopping for her outfits although her dresser was full of different outfits which could have suited her anyway. In the mall she tried like hundreds outfits before finding the one that fitted her and blended well with her skin colour.
Evening came and i was busy in the kitchen helping with dinner preparation when the guests arrived. Since Melanie was the one they came for, she was the one to welcome them so that meant i won't be seeing the guests because i was not going to eat dinner with them because being a thursday, i had to go to a movie theater to watch a movie that had been released two days ago, Jason Thorne was the protagonist so if i had to skip dinner to watch that movie then i had to. After all nobody will care since all the attention is always on Melanie.
Our house had a back door so it was not hard for me to sneak out. I reached the theater just on time, i had already bought a ticket the previous. As usually i sat for three hours until i saw the end of the movie, it was around 10:30pm that i reached my home, obviously the guest had long gone and everyone was sleeping. On movie days, i used to let my window open so i don't have trouble ringing the door bell to wake anyone. I jumped through my bedroom window and entered my room.
I had not even closed my eyes when my alarm went off, waking up was the hardest thing for me,but remembering i had projects to be submitted today,i tossed away the covers and headed to the bathroom. After my morning routine, i skipped breakfast because i never wanted to be late for college. I swear college life sucks when you still live with your parents, that was my case.
