~Ray's POV~
I groaned, forcing some life back into my arms and legs. That stupid, idiotic bastard. I should have trusted my instincts, trusted my gut but I thought I was being silly and jealous. This was exactly why I needed to stay as far away from Amelia as I possibly could. She blurred my judgment, made me frustrated, blind and just all kinds of crazy.
"Ally!" I yelled weakly and she barely looked over at me. "Stay awake. You've got to stay awake for me. Okay?" she nodded sluggishly before closing her eyes. I sighed, attempting to sit up once more but failed. I bit my lip until I could taste blood. I couldn't believe I allowed myself to be in a situation like this. I couldn't believe I let my guard down like I did. I forced my body to respond to my instructions once more without luck. This couldn't be the way things end between Amelia and I. I was an asshole all week. God, I told her I hated her.
"Ally, wake the frig up!" I yelled, my anger exceeding its limit. I was going to find that jackass and teach him to keep his stingy little no good hands off the things he didn't own. All I needed to do was get my stupid body parts to work. Damn it!
~Mia's POV~
I watched Caleb as he frantically paced the floor of his hand built cottage. He had tied me to a chair in the middle of room. I looked around, there was a small table at one end, a hammock made from dried vines at the other. There were no windows and behind me stood one door that could only be opened from the outside. I took a deep calming breath, trying to keep my anxiety at bay- it was evident that he had made this small room specifically for me and for this moment. He stopped suddenly and I decided it was now or never.
"Caleb, what is this? What are you doing? Where am I?"
He eyed me confusedly "Honey bear, we are going to build a life together, like we talked about"
I felt my insides compress and my mind tried desperately to comprehend what he was saying.
"What are you talking about?" I asked, hopeless, overwhelming tears trailing down my stupid face. "Caleb stop this please, let me go" I begged and his face hardened.
"I have to go take care of your friends" he mumbled "We'll speak about this later"
My eyes widened in complete horror. What did he mean by that? Was he going to kill them?
"Caleb!?" I screamed desperately as he walked out and locked the door behind him "Caleb!?" I tried squeezing my hands from the ropes on either sides of the chair without luck. I tried rocking the chair but it was nailed to the ground. I squirmed.
I only took one sip of the alcohol, while Ray and Aleecia took like three different shots, which meant that they could still be paralyzed or passed out on the beach. My mind ran wild. This was his intention all along and I was too stupid to see it. Now Aleecia and Ray were going to pay for my stupidity.
"Help!" I squealed, hoping someone would hear "Help!"
I screamed until I couldn't anymore; until I was too tired to keep my eyes open but no one came. No one heard me.

~A few days later~
The door opened and I sprung my head around to see Caleb. I sighed in disappointment.
"Honey bear, I brought you food"
I turned my head away from him as he showed me the food he'd prepare. It was pasta my favorite. Come to think about it, Caleb knew I liked pasta without asking- that day at the restaurant he brought me pasta. He couldn't have guessed that, unless he was psyche. O God. I did this! This was all my fault. I kissed him, I entertained him.
I cringed.
"You're not still mad about your friends are you?" He asked sadly and I willed back tears. I had no idea how long I'd been in this place with him but it couldn't have been anything less than two days.
"I told you when I got there, they were already dead" he continued and I tried swallowing the painful lump forming in my throat. I refused to believe that he was telling me the truth. I refused to believe that Ray was gone, our last memorable days together filled with spiteful words and anger. I could never believe that.
He opened the plate of food and stooped to my level, attempting to feed me and all I could think about was Ray doing the same when I was sick. Even so, I sucked it all up. If I ever wanted to get out of here, I needed to be smarter.
I accepted the food and forced a smile. He smiled back and I wondered how I never saw this sick, psychopathic person hiding in him before. He was so good at concealing it. Either that or I was too darn blind.
I ate until he stopped feeding. "Caleb?"
"Call me Honey, Honey Bear"
I nodded "Honey" I began hesitantly "These are really tight can you take them off? I promise I won't cause any trouble" I asked hopefully, putting on a sincere act. He placed the plate on the ground, deep in thought.
"Please" I begged, eyeing my black and blue wrist pitifully.
"No biting" he dictated, pointing to the spot on his arm I had bitten the day he told me Ray and Aleecia were dead. I nodded, trying to hide my excitement. If I could take down Ray, maybe I could take him down too. After all, Ray was taller, bigger, faster and stronger.
He untied my hands and feet and I got up. He was taller than I remembered. My insides shrunk, I was too weak for this. Even so, it was now or never; the door was opened.
"Um. I need to pee" I smiled "I've been wanting to since yesterday" I explained, having no idea what I was doing. He nodded and pointed to the small tin pan under the hammock. I stooped to get it.
"Can you turn around?" I urged, holding my breath "I get really nervous when I'm being watched" I continued standing up and praying to God that this worked. He turned around and I exhaled, smashing the pan into his head with all the strength I had left. He yelped falling to the ground and I made a run for the door. He grabbed a hold of my foot and pulled me to the floor, dragging me toward him. I screamed, fighting to keep his strong arms from pinning me down but I was useless.
