A street that was bustling like every day was now littered with unidentified corpses everywhere.
Bodies with bite marks, scratches, and guts spilling out were surrounding a young man laying on the bloodied red ground. The man was in his teens but the man's eyes were relentlessly staring somewhere else disregarding the beasts everywhere.
The boy in his youth was seeing an old man even ignoring the beasts that were everywhere, with tears in his black eyes while staring at the old man who was doing the same.
"Forgive me, Sid, I couldn't even protect you," said Ryan with an urge of impatience in his voice as black blood was coming out of his mouth every time he spoke.
"Master this isn't your fau-"
"No, this is my fault and I will take responsibility"
"I will send you to a place where you can grow well"
with saying that he began chanting unknown words
pshhh!
An enormous amount of mana was being released from his frail and bloodied body with Ryan's translucent body disappearing from his view.
"Live well!" were the last words that were said by Ryan before disappearing.
with the absence of Ryan, a bolt of lightning fell from above on him.
khachak!
The horrendous pain that came with it was so unbearable that Syden immediately passed out.

Syden woke up from the bed while sweating like crazy.
The room and the bed were the same but something was different. He got out of the bed while touching his forehead. His body was familiar yet unfamiliar and his face was the same but with more baby fat and his height was short.
dut!
Syden fell to the floor while walking and suddenly the blood drained from his face. Staring at him from the mirror was his past self.
The face in the mirror was of his past 10-year-old self.
After recalling the memories of the previous event he got up from the floor and ran towards the door while yelling and forgetting about the strange phenomenon.
"Master!"
"Master where are you?!"
"Master!"
He ran downstairs while slipping on the stairs but he was unphased from the pain coming from his bleeding knee.
He searched at the reception and the working area of the shop but couldn't find his master.
After searching through everywhere he came across a letter with his name written on it on the dining table.
Syden opened the letter while making sure not to damage the letter by suddenly tearing it.
After opening the letter he started reading the letter aloud.
"Dear Sid,
If you are reading this letter then something bad has happened to me previously
and I am sure you are in a dilemma but don't look for me because I am not in this world anymore and can't come back now so live a happy life. Just know that this master of yours loved you very much and everything this old man had is yours. If you want to know more about what happened to me look for professor luke in Rosalia's National Academy"
With tears bulging out of his eyes and water from his runny nose he sat there from morning till the sunset mourning for his deceased master.
While thinking about his master he got up from there. Looking outside the windows he could see the red sky over the horizon and the disappearance of the red ball of light marked the end of a day he will never forget in his life.
thud
After laying in his bed Syden thought about the past where he was an orphan.
He was an orphan from birth and didn't even about his parents, the children who lived in the orphanage always matured early while knowing about what kind of place the world was. It was rare to see children get adopted and even rarer for them to end up in a good household that cared about them. Syden was part of rarer children because Ryan was looking for a child to adopt and realized that the 8-year boy and he had some common traits. The interest at that time evolved into responsibility and after years it became into love for his disciple.
Ryan lived in a humble two-storied building and was a blacksmith by profession, he wanted Syden to carry that mantle but never pressurized him. The initial element of both of them was space. But in the world people always saw space mages with disdain, as compared to other mages they took more time and mana to advance stages and had no particular uses. Most space mages were in artisan jobs because they could make space rings, do spatial expansion, and do some other things but that was it there were no more other uses that could make people invest in them. But in the group of these people, Ryan was quite unique because he had a special power, specifically, he had a domain. Some children when awakening their spiritual tree could get some special powers from it, the numbers of these people were 1 in 100,000 and were quite rare to see. But even in the group of these seemingly special people what could Syden, a space mage do?
But after years of practice and hard work made by both him and his master now he could use his domain to distort space or gather a high quantity of mana in space for faster absorbing. But happy days don't last forever. The town they were living in was attacked by mana beasts and so-called nobles didn't even try to protect their territory and ran away.
Now, Syden was all alone. He didn't have friends as he was satisfied with living alone with his master but now even he was gone. He spent his days researching, forging, and taking care of the shop with his master. Their lifestyle wasn't luxurious but every day was fun. That was all gone now.
Resentment filled Syden's mind. Resentment for the nobles and beasts. Resentment for people who disregarded them. Resentment for the world.
"I will kill them, every single one"
"This the oath to the great mana that I, Syden Miller, will avenge my master and kill those pieces of shit if I don't keep my promise then I will die the most painful death"
"From today onwards, I will become a completely new person"
