Syden was using his domain to gather mana in his body, while doing this he had to also circulate his mana. For other people, it is easy as they only need to circulate mana in their body and mana gather around them and get absorbed in their body and then in their core. He also used this method but his mana gathering speed was very slow. To improve this his master came up with the idea of using Syden's domain to gather in a particular space, but it had a flaw that he had to concentrate on two different tasks. To improve his concentration, he had to practice many different kinds of concentration improving methods for a year.
With the sound of Angelina standing up after two hours, Syden retracted his domain back to the mana core. Straightening his posture and opening his eyes. Syden asked her in a composed voice,
"Is it done?"
"Yes, it is done"
"then shall we complete the payment?"
"How would you like to do it by?"

Taking out his own card Syden touched it with Angelina's card. Sending his own mana and saying the amount he wanted to give. The card authorized his voice and unique mana fluctuations and transferred the said amount to Angelica's card.
Putting the card back in his inner pocket, Syden lifted the book and started walking towards the door with light steps.
Angelina contemplated where a person like that came from while looking at Syden's evergoing small figure.
As Syden reached home, he sat on his bed and opened the book. After reading through the book, he couldn't help but be astonished as the book contained a mage's personal notes and with a skill in it. In this world, a mage gains only two abilities every time they break through a tier but some people had more than two abilities of their respective elements. Skills could be made by anyone but it required a huge amount of time to think and implement the skill. To practice an ability other than the given one, You had to break the restrictions on the elemental tree and a person could only learn a specific amount of skills.
The skill Syden got was a space skill known as space lock. This skill could restrict a person's movement by manifesting chains of space attribute and the more the person resisted the more their mana would be absorbed by it. But to use this skill the caster should have attained level 3 in their element.
Syden did not have level 3 in his space element. Syden hid the book in the locker from which he got the book. He had already planned what he should do in the coming months. For starters, he will practice with his body like a crazy person and will use medicinal herbs to temper it again and again.
A mage should always be ready for surprising elements in battle and should have fast thinking with good reflexes.
