Sounds of running and shouting could be heard from inside an alleyway as two handsome young men ran from a group of five men with vicious looks on their faces.
Tap! Tap! Tap!
The two young boys were running as quickly as they could gradually pulling further and further away from their pursuers.
That was until they came to the end of the alleyway that was blocked off by a chain-linked fence "What do we do now?" the handsome young man with black hair and blue eyes said to his friend as they looked at the fence in front of them.
His friend who had brown hair and dazzling golden amber eyes looked at the fence and then behind them to see if the group of men had managed to catch up, even though he couldn't see the men that were chasing them he could still hear their rapid footsteps quickly closing in.
The brown-haired young man turned to look at his friend "Looks like we're going to have to climb over the fence" the young brown-haired man said.
The brown-haired young man then interlocked his fingers and bent his knees "Here I'll give you a boost" the brown-haired young man said as his black-haired friend looked down the alleyway before he stepped on his friend's interlocked hands as he began to climb the fence.
Once his friend was at the top of the chain-linked fence the brown-haired young started to climb up it.
Just as the brown-haired young man was a few inches off the ground he was grabbed by someone from behind and thrown roughly to the floor "You're not going anywhere until you hand over whatever you have on you" one of the men said with a sneer.
Seeing his friend in trouble the black-haired young man jumped from the fence kicking his friend's attacker away from him "What did you do that for Issac you could have gotten away" the brown-haired young man who lay on the floor said.
Issac looked at his friend as he offered his hand to him "What and leave you behind what kind of a friend would I be if I did that Link?" Issac said as Link took Issac's hand getting to his feet.
Link looked at his friend "At least you'd be safe" Link muttered under his breath as one of them began to speak.
Annoyed that the two friends were ignoring them one of the men who was pursuing Issac and Link spoke "If you two are finished talking then quickly hand over your things and we'll let you go" the man said as he sneered at the duo.
Link looked at the group of sneering men as he shook his head "Are you guy's stupid or just plain deaf we've told you I don't know how many times already that we don't have anything on us and we both know that you wouldn't have let us go even if we did as you say!" Link said as he stood next to Issac not letting his guard down.
When the man saw his scare tactics weren't working he became even more agitated "I've never liked people like you who are too smart for their own good" the man said with an angry expression just before he lunged at Issac.
Link saw the glint of something metallic in the man's hand and before he knew it his body was already moving "ISSAC LOOKOUT!" Link shouted as he pushed his friend out of the way of the man who lunged at his friend.
Squelch!
The sound of something impaling someone's body could be heard after Link's warning shout to his friend he dove in front of the attacker trying to protect his friend.
Link pulled away from the man only to see a knife protruding from his stomach.
Link pressed his hands to his stomach pulling the knife from his stomach feeling the hot crimson red liquid flow onto his hands "LINK" Issac said as he watched his friend hold the wound as it bled profusely.
Issac rushed over to his friend "We need to get out of here and fast Link" Issac said as he rushed over to his friend who stood clutching his stomach.
Link looked at his friend's face as tears fell from Issac's eyes "run" Link choked out as blood escaped his lips his vision became blurry and unfocused as he stepped in front of Issac.
Issac shook his head at his friend's request "No I won't leave you like this" he said as he looked defiantly at their attackers.
Link stepped forward ignoring his friend's pleas and just as he did his legs buckled beneath him causing him to fall into the pool of his own blood that had pooled beneath him.
The last thing Link saw before his vision went completely black was Issac being hit in the face with a metal bar, the last thing he heard was Issac's pained groans "I..ss..ac" Link mumbled out as he breathed his last breath as he faded away into nothingness.
As Link drifted through the vast darkness various thoughts constantly went through his mind
'so this is how I die'
'I hope Issac is okay'
'who am I kidding, of course he isn't'
'I'm sorry Issac I'm so so sorry'
These thoughts played constantly through his mind going back and forth from hopeful to despair until he saw a strange light rapidly approaching him from the distance 'what's that bright light?' Link thought as he was enveloped in the light when it reached him.
As Link opened his eye his vision was blurry but he could see a blurry figure in front of him as his vision cleared up he saw a beautiful but exhausted woman with long pointed ears with a pair emerald green eyes and lustrous blond hair looking down at him with a loving smile on her face.
Link looked at the beautiful woman in awe 'who's this beautiful lady?' he thought to himself.
The woman gazed at him lovingly "isan naron cilar Rion" the woman said as she kissed his head 'wait I can't understand what she's saying' Link thought as he tried to speak.
"ba ga boo" but he was unable to speak he then noticed that his hands were incredibly small 'what the hell am I a baby?' Link thought as he looked at his small hands in shock.
As Link was still getting over his shock his mother handed him over to a handsome looking man who had pitch-black hair and cerulean blue eyes and the same long pointed ears as the woman "sio nomis Rion suta na intmanis" the man said as he held Link in his arms.
Link looked at the handsome long pointed eared man 'Is this man my father?' Link thought to himself as he stared back at the man questionably.
The man went over and kissed his mother on her head as he stroked her hair lovingly "uono mi Atrica" the man said much to Link's frustration.
Link watched on as who he now realised was his mother and father conversed in their language 'I wish I could understand them' he said as his father handed him back to his mother while they continued talking.
As Link lay there in his mother's embrace she brought his face to her breast "Soolin iyo masa Rion" his mother said as Link became flustered and happy at what was happening 'yes finally after 16 years I will be able to know what breasts feel like' Link thought in excitement until he realised this woman was his mother 'wait no no no this is my mother' he thought to himself as the two conflicting emotions raged within him causing him to struggle in his mother's arms.
His mother looked at his father "soto moi nicat Nialan" she said as she looked at Link's father slightly panicking.

His father shushed his mother as he stroked her her hair with calming strokes "parn jos quat soosata" his father said trying to calm his mother.
His mother looked from his father and into his eyes with a worried face which caused Link to quickly give in to her 'okay okay lady just stop looking at me like that' he said inside his mind as he latched on to his mother's breast and began to nurse from her.
A little while later he was greeted by three other people 2 young boys and one girl who Link assumed were his older brothers and sister.
His three older siblings crowded around him and his mother "jita rijwa nikan Rion" his mother said as the three looked at him.
Link looked around at his siblings 'so I'm the youngest' Link thought matter of factly as he looked up at his siblings from where he lay in his mother's arms.
His sister looked at him "wiwa nim ansil" his sister said as she cooed at him as both his brothers nodded agreeing with whatever his sister had said.
Link looked around at his new family and thought back to his previous life and how he was alone for most of it 'maybe this time I won't be so alone' Link thought as he slowly drifted off to sleep.
