6 months later
Rion was now 2 years and 2 months old and was now able to read and had since discovered that this world had magic he found this out one day when he found a book in the library that was all about the basics of magic.
He found out that all people in this world were able to use magic but they were only able to wield it once they had awakened their core.
The very first element of all the core's that people awakened would be represented by a star appearing outside of their core and was completely random and all came down to one thing luck.
Just awakening a powerful element didn't mean that someone would be able to wield them to their fullest potential if the person's body couldn't handle the power that their core had it would explode making the person unable to ever wield magic again.
Although they could awaken their core at any age if they awakened it before the age of 12 then it could cause severe damage to the body it was only when someone was at the age of 12 did they allow people to awaken them.
In total the people of this world could only awaken the minimum of two element's and a maximum of five composed of the different element's the core as well as the element even had their own Grades and Planes.
The Grades were divided into six different colours Grey, Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue and Indigo but the top Magi didn't think this was the limit of the Grade an element could reach but no one had been able to prove this claim.
The Grade of someone's element greatly affected how powerful their elemental attacks were as well as how fast they absorbed the Mana that was in the air.
The Planes were divided into five different Planes that were further divided into nine different Stages they were the Arcane Plane, Infusion Plane, Spiritual Plane, Arch-Lord Plane and the Sage Plane just like the Stages of element's it was thought that this wasn't the limit.
Each increase in Plane did come with benefits as it would increase the strength of a person's mind, body and soul as well as increasing their lifespan.
Those that had awakened their core and managed to get it to the 1st Stage of the Infusion Plane or above were given the name Magi.
Rion's mother was in the 5th Stage of the Infusion Plane and had awakened two element's her first was of the Life element which was Orange Grade while her second was the Summoning element which was Yellow Grade.
His father was at the Peak Stage of the Infusion Plane and had awakened three element's his first was of the Fire element which was Orange Grade, his second core was of the Death element which was also Orange Grade and his third core was the Lightning element which was Yellow Grade.
Rion closed the book on the basics of magic with a sigh "Haaah~ I can't wait until I awaken my core" Rion said to himself as he placed the book back on the shelf he found it.

1 year and 2 month's later
Rion was now 3 years and 4 months old and he had made his first friends since he reincarnated into this world who were the sons of his father's two best friends and hunting partners Yutas Blair and Zeldain Tigan that was part of the Beastman race.
One of his new friends was a human called Leios Blair he had short azure blue hair with a pair of sunset orange eyes who always had a sunny disposition and always had a smile on his face.
His other friend was called Mexin Tigan he resembled a tiger from his past life he had black hair with two white strands at the front, white cat-like ears that stood on top of his head, his eye's were a fiery red in colour that were slitted just like a cat with a black and white striped tail behind him.
Rion, Leios and Mexin looked through the crack in the ajar door of the kitchen "Now do you remember the plan?" Rion whispered to Leios and Mexin as he kept an eye on the kitchen.
Leios nodded his head "Can you explain it one more time?" Mexin said a little embarrassed as he scratched his cheek with his clawed hand.
Haah.
Rion sighed but explained again anyway "Okay but don't forget this time" Rion said as he looked at Mexin who nodded his head eagerly.
Seeing he had their full attention Rion began explaining the plan "Mexin you'll be staying here to make sure no one catches us while Leios will distract the head chef with well... him" Rion said as he gestured to Leios "While I sneak inside and grab that applin pie cooling on the table" Rion said as he gestured to a sweet-smelling golden brown pie on the counter.
Rion had discovered what an applin was when he was two but despite it looking like an apple from Earth it was as sour as a lemon but despite its sour taste, it happened to be incredibly tasty.
After Rion finished explaining the plan to Mexin again Leios entered the kitchen and walked up to the head chef "Hello Agatha you're looking as beautiful as ever today" Leios said no matter how many times he saw Leios act this way he couldn't get used to a 3-year-old boy saying such things.
Even though Agatha was as Leios said incredibly beautiful she was as fierce as she was beautiful, there had been many a time that he and his siblings had been on the receiving end of her anger even their parent's treated her with respect.
Agatha turned around to look at Leios "Flattery will get you nowhere with me you little trickster and how many times do I have to tell you not to enter my kitchen without my permission" Agatha said as she walked over to Leios who stood next to the counter.
As soon as Agatha was in front of him Leios "accidentally" bumped into the bag of flour that was near him causing a cloud of white powder to fill the room.
Kuff. Kuff
Coughing could be heard coming from within the white cloud of powder "This is why I tell you to stay out of my kitchen" Agatha said in between her coughing.
Rion seeing that Agatha was thoroughly distracted quickly moved through the kitchen towards the applin pie that was on the counter and it wasn't long before he was in front of their prize.
Rion carefully took the applin pie from the counter and turned around slowly making his way towards the exit 'slowly slowly' Rion repeated over and over in his head he knew that if he made one mistake it would be the end of him and his friend's.
While Agatha was busy opening the windows to air out the kitchen Leios quickly made his escape and ran out of the kitchen and rejoined his friends at the door before he closed it behind him at the same time Rion sat down with the pie.
The three looked at their prize with glee but just as they were about to start eating it a familiar voice spoke from behind them "and what are you three troublemakers doing here?" the three young boys turned to see a furious but hilarious looking flour-covered Agatha staring at them.
The three young boys gulped as Rion looked between the pie in his hands and Agatha before he shouted "RUUUUUNNN" as he threw their hard-earned pie at Agatha in an attempt to buy them some time to escape.
Agatha not only easily dodged the pie Rion threw at her but also caught it in the process and placed back on the counter before she watched as the three young boys run away as fast as they could.
Tat! Tat! Tat!
The three young boys ran for their lives through the halls of the mansion looking for a place to hide upon seeing an open door the three ran inside and slammed the door behind them breathing hard.
Huff. Huff. Huff.
Leios slumped to the floor panting "Did we... manage... to lose... her?" he said as he tried to steady his breath.
Rion pressed his ear to the door for any signs that Agatha was behind them but all he heard was silence "Phew~ Yeah I think we lost her" Rion said releasing a breath he was holding.
Rion felt a tap come from his left were Mexin stood but when he looked at him Mexin was looking behind them in horror, Rion gulped before following his friend's gaze to see the person they were running from standing right behind them.
"I don't think we lost her" Mexin said as he trembled beside Rion.
"Now what shall I do to these three little thieves?" Agatha said as she smiled with a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes.
Rion, Leios and Mexin would forever remember this day and shudder at the mere thought of Agatha's although comical but rage-filled face.
