AZENITH'S POV CONTINUATION
The walls were all covered with curtains and led lights. It gives more beauty to the whole venue and colors.
My eyes went down to the man who was having fun talking to a couple of men. I bet they've got the chance to reunite again on this night.
"Khalid is here," Jayle uttered.
"I thought it was just me who saw him," I laughed.
"Where is he?" Jacob asked.
"Yeah, where is that kiddo? I can't see him," Mica complain.
"He's with the boys, I think they're talking about something. Jacob, why don't you join them to catch some issues and gossip?" I joke as he gave me his poker face.
"Alright, I was just teasing you." I laughed again and raise my hands as a sign of surrender.
"I think Aze is right Jacob," Jayle agreed as I shrugged to show him more annoyance.
"We'll talk but not now, he's still talking to his co-actors. Besides, there's still a lot of time to talk," He stated.
"If you say so," Jayle mumbled.
My eyes were still in Khalid's direction. I know this man misses me a lot and he had a big debt to me.
Khalid is one of our college friends and he's the one who introduced Jacob to me. But then again I wasn't on the time of that to flirt with someone.
I'm deadly inside and emotionally destroyed after Sy and I broke up. We've been that close to each other because of Sy and since they're best friends too.
Even from the start, he doesn't like Krizzel in the beginning. He even advises Symon that his best friend will ruin our relationship.
But then he refused to believe it and yet this happened to us now. Funny right? But of course, I moved on already.
The feelings I have for Symon are already gone and the only thing I can give to him is a friendship. I'll be civil to him if ever we met each other again.
If ever our paths crossed again like it was fated for us to meet again and forgive each other. Even though it doesn't need to happen because I already forgive him and so myself too.
"I'll just have some catch up with Khalid, I'll be back guys. You can roam around since the event hasn't started yet. Just met me in here," I informed them before walking down the stairs to get in there where Khalid is.
I didn't wait for them to speak since they just all agreed with what I told them. They will have fun I'm so sure of it, Jayle and Jacob will have fun.
While walking on the small spaces of the stairs. I tried not to step into my fitness because I'm surely going to crawl down the stairs.
Walking down confidently when I saw Khalid's eyes turned in my direction. I didn't act as I saw him earlier and just focused on what I'm doing.
One more step and I'll be on the floor. Now my eyes were shuttered as I saw Khalid waiting for me at the edge of the staircase.
"Finally you're here," He uttered and handed me his hand.
"Whatever Khalid." I rolled my eyes and punch his shoulder because accepting his gentleman's hand.
"When did your come back?" He asked while we were walking back to his friends who were actors too.
"Since last year. Korea is a good place to escape from a noisy place like this." I stated and simply smiled without looking at him.
"You know what, you're still the same Aze I knew for more than 13 years. Now, how's life going?" He asks.
"Well life is getting harder, but at least I'm strong enough to handle the pressure of it." I proudly answered.
"Wow, I like that answer. Now, why didn't you tell me you were here already. I should have been one of your actors if you've just chatted me." He dramatically hissed and pouted.
"You know me very well Khalid. I don't like being chased by paparazzi wherever I go. But then I used to it and it's not new to me anymore."
"Well, I think you're right. By the way, Sy is already here."
"Yeah, that's what I heard." I simply mumbled.
"And?" He murmured.
"And what?" I repeated.
"And what was your reaction? Didn't the two of you planned of something to do when he comeback already?" He asked with hope.
"Who would be the idiot to plan that stupid meet up Khalid? Tell me huh,"
"I just thought you both have plans to meet and talk." Khalid pouted.
"You should stop thinking about us Khalid because the two of us are already done," I explained what made him sad more.
I laughed at his reaction and heard the announcement of the hosts for tonight's premiere. The event will start after three minutes break, I should get back to my friends.
"I think I need to go back upstairs, our table is in there," I uttered and waited for him to say something.
"I'll take you there," He offered.
"No no-no-no. I'm fine Khal, I'll be fine besides the stairs are not that thin so it'll be fine." I lied even though the truth is it's scary to step in again of that stairs.
For the last time of our talk, I hugged him and he also hugged me before kissing me on my cheeks. I didn't tell him more words and rushed to the stairs.
While I was stepping into the thin levels of the stairs, my mind can't concentrate because of my worries. I might fell on the stairs and found myself embarrassed.
I tried more to step in as fast I can so my Mica, Jayle, and Jacob won't worry about me.
While rushing, my end of the world self step on my other feet which made me fall in the middle of the stairs.
I thought I'll fall to the floor but someone grabbed my hands and held my body to give me balance.
I sighed and looked up,
