NARRATOR'S POV
It's like a fairytale when Symon reaches for Aze's hands and takes it to his manly broad shoulders. As his hands were on Azenith's waist. While they positioned themselves before starting to dance together.
"When was the last time we danced together?" Sy suddenly asked to bring all the history of them.
"I don't remember it anymore. Like what I've said to you Symon, I don't like someone noisy like a girl." Aze strictly muttered, raising her eyebrows to Symon.
"Really, well then I remember when was the last time you danced with me. You even wore the prettiest dress that night and it didn't leave your mind." He mumbled with a teasing smile to her.
"Whatever you say Symon, I bet things in the past shouldn't be talked about anymore because all it was a mistake." She firmly muttered and continued dancing.
Symon smirked and looked away to avoid himself looking at her because it made him crazy. Every time and every day he misses her, from that day they parted ways.
No one expects their breakup, because they are almost a perfect couple. Among their friends, she has the most beautiful relationship.
Sy is a simple man and a very kind person, but sometimes he gets worse when he's too good to someone.
You will be left behind because he was busy helping someone. For example his best friend, that's the reason why Aze left him and chose to stay away from them.
She felt that there is something between them. And she never gets too wrong when her instincts are scarier than the snakes around.
"Don't tighten my hand waist while holding it. It's gripping my body," Aze complained as she withdrew her waist away from Symon's hands.
"Just fit yourself I won't bite you Aze, chill," Sy muttered with a teasing smile plastered on his handsome face.
"Come on Sy! don't make me feel more irritated, just do what I want you to do." Aze hissed trying to stop herself from shouting in front of him.
"Fine," He surrendered and raised both his hands in the air while smiling at her.
They both continued to dance as they listened to the flow of the music while looking at each other's eyes. A lot of things happened in their lives while they were away from each other.
They both realized different things they'd encountered while being alone on a journey.
"I shouldn't have listened to her words before. I shouldn't have," Symon uttered in his mind while facing Aze who's quietly dancing with him right now.
He holds her hips and slowly guides them while matching the music of their motion. Slow-mo is the perfect thing a couple should do while dancing. Nothing could beat that slow-mo with your favorite person.
If Symon didn't choose to spend his life with Krizzel. Aze and he is still together right now and going strong through the years. But he chooses to help Krizzel with the struggles and depression she has. Instead of being with the girl she loved and committing himself forever to her.
Symon tried to hold back his tears and avoid having eye contact with Aze. All because he knows he will cry if he keeps on staring at her all the time.
He was one of the burdens that Aze had before. He never tried to ask what she was going to feel after choosing his best friend over her.
He forgot that they had the best day to celebrate too but instead of them celebrating it together. The love story ended in the blink of an eye of someone.
Lots of their friends were shocked after knowing it. That Sy and Aze already ended their love story without hesitation and plans.
"Aze," Sy called while they were still dancing.
"Hmmm," She hummed and slowly he rested his head on Sy's chest which made Symon stunned.
Khalid is looking at them and so Aze's friends too, Mica, Jayle, and Jacob are now watching them intently. They truly support the love they got between and never deny it.
But they can't support how Symon deprived their love for each other because of his best friend.
"When you left… when you left me did you ever try to look for me after I left the country?" Sy asked with a shaking voice of his.
"I didn't," She simply answered and looked up to see his reaction. "I didn't look for you because I know it won't be worth it anymore. It would be great to use if I forgive you just for the sake of everything," Aze stated as she moved away from her body to Symon.
They're now standing as they both stop from dancing. While the other pairs were still dancing together with the slow motion of the music. It's only them who only stop and refuse to continue anymore and just talk about something they had in their past.
"It will be worth it Aze, if only you did," Sy mumbled.
"HAHAHAHA, crazy Sy. Don't make me feel so guilty just because I didn't chase you after what you did, remember this Sy. When I buried our past, I meant it all." Aze muttered while looking at Symon's eyes intently.
She let go of everything including the things that happened right now. She doesn't want these memories to become a hindrance to her dreams again.
"Nice catch, what a beautiful couple I've seen since before."
They both turned their heads on the person who spoke behind them.
"Khalid, why is she here?!" Jayle said in anger as she looked at Khalid who was confused and upset too.
"I-- I don't know why she's in here. Sy didn't mention that she invited her tonight." Khalid explains.
"Jacob, go downstairs and prepare the car. I'm so sure that Azenith won't settle here any longer." Mica mumbled as her eyes were focused on Azenith's direction.
Jacob nodded his head and walked closer towards the exit door.
"Oh, the wizard snake is in here. Gosh Sy, you didn't tell me you were going to bring with you your favorite pet." Aze mumbled with insults as she winked at Krizzel.
She left the two of them standing alone on the dance floor.
