Chapter 38
'Omar'
It felt like Deja Vu watching her walk through the dojo doors.
She sniffed through the equipment with the curiosity she had when we first met. The only difference this time was that I didn't insult her, and she didn't yell gibberish into my face. I caught myself smiling…how I wish I had her beside me every day.
Owais made this possible for me, he used the isolated training programme in my favour, and I was surprised that Zakira agreed…
Watching her train, enjoy pastries, and sleep peacefully again has made me rest easier. I was a lot happier with her around, I did, however, wish that we were comfortable around each other like before. These days, we always looked like we were walking on eggshells.
She handed me a coffee looking down, "I'm sorry for last night."
"Prove it," I said, folding my arms
"If you ever fall asleep on me, I will not make any movement that will wake you up!"
