•~ where those who seek love Or has been heartbroken goes ~•°
Sunday morning is probably the best time of the week for most of the people. Some like to sleep till 10 in the morning or have a nice morning walk but Fera is definitely one of a kind to like reading with a cup of coffee in The Love Life Library, her favorite place. She was never this much interested in reading typical, sometimes cringey and definitely cliché stories but time is the another name of the change.
Well, this Sunday morning is different because Fera is currently getting dressed not for the library but for a wedding, wedding of Bryan Cooper, her ex. She had never thought that she will be attending his marriage instead of marrying him. But she is not heartbroken neither she feels sad. She is actually happy that she and Bryan had finally moved on and he is happily marrying the right one for him. What hurts is that she will not be able to spend the day at the library while reading books and having a nice conversation with Jessica, the librarian.
''Funny it is that Bryan was the reason you started going to that 'for-virgin's- library' and now you don't want to go to meet Bryan and congrats him on his big day.'' A sudden male voice caused Fera to get out of her deep thoughts. She turned around to see it was Elijah, Elijah Greece, her twin brother and her favorite person in the world after herself, of course.
''It is not 'for-virgin's-library' for God's sake Elijah. It is called The Love Life Library wher-. '' She got cut off by Elijah ''where those who seek love or has been heartbroken goes. I know it Fera. You have told me for like a thousand times now. Anyways, I want to tell you to hurry up and get in the car 'cause we're planning to leave in 10 minutes.'' Elijah said.
Fera nodded and headed down stairs to the car only to find Chelsea sitting there. She got inside the car to give her best friend a tight hug and sat at the back seat. ''Are you excited to meet our old high school friend there? I am sure that Sarah would be really happy to see us attend her wedding even after you being Bryan's ex. '' Chelsea said. She was definitely very excited for the wedding as it was the first wedding of anyone in their friend's circle. It was actually weird to see someone marrying even before graduating from college. And on top of that they never thought it would be Bryan and Sarah who's been together for only a year. But whatever it was, none of them actually cared as long as they were going to have a big feast on the wedding.
After a drive of 30 minutes, they reached the venue. And the first person she saw was her best friend Aiden Carter who she has been avoiding for a week now. He was her one of the oldest friend who she thought was going to propose her crush but found out that he's been crushing on her since the day they met.
'Eww disgusting' she thought when she imagined herself dating him. Not that he was not good-looking, in fact he was one of the most attractive guy that she has seen in life not to mention his blue eyes and brown wavy hair falling on his forehead that gives a ravishing look of his heavy gaze when they fall on someone but she never felt any romantic feelings for him.
Now was the time when they were heavily looking into each other's eyes. As much she wanted to escape his company, she couldn't leave him. She was not going to fall in love so easily after her heartbreak but he was one of those people she cherished the most and could never let go. So she thought to finally clear things with him.
''Didn't expect to see you here.'' He started. ''I thought after my confession you wouldn't want to see me because you aren't over Bryan yet.'' He was hurt that she didn't see him after the confession and ignored him for a week instead of replying to his confession. ''I didn't want to ignore you but your confession was so sudden that I didn't know what to say but now I have figured things out and I clearly know what I want us to be.'' She replied calmly but one could sense nervousness in her voice. ''You make me happy when I am sad and have always been on my side since last six years and I am so grateful to have you as my friend but ''. She stopped and took a deep breath.
''But I have always seen you as friend, nothing more. I like you and love you so much as friend but I can't think of you as a potential boyfriend. So, I hope we can keep our relationship as it was and do not expect anything more from each other.'' Her words may seem harsh but it the truth which he has to accept. Deep down he also knew that she has never had that kind of affection that he has for her.
After telling him how she feels about having a relationship with him, Fera decides to leave immediately to her healing space, The Love Life Library, her escape from everything that hurts her. She took a cab to the library because sadly she doesn't know how to drive a car even at the age of 21. But she doesn't care and lives her life the way she wants to live.
After reaching the library, she quickly paid the driver and went in where she found Jessica drowning herself in the management work. She sometimes wonder if Jessica actually goes home or she stays here in the library. But she shrugged off all her thoughts and went toward the last shelf where she always wanted to go and read those worn out books. She started searching for a book to read in the 6th row. Suddenly, her eyes landed on a book with a blue cover and golden lining around it's border what seemed to be real gold and on the top of it was written The ianua mirror.
The book didn't seem old like every other book in the library but definitely quite tempting to read. She didn't think twice before turning the book cover to the first page where was a picture of a magnificent mirror which seem to be an antique. Then on the next page she saw a map or more like a map of the library. 'Interesting' she mumbled and begin following the directions to the ianua mirror. But soon she stopped when she realised that there was a wall in front of her instead of a way.
Fera has read almost a hundred books and her instinct tells her that the wall in front of her is fake. She tried to break it by using her non-existent strength and eventually gave up when she couldn't. Then she saw a weird book on the near shelf so she took it out just out of curiosity.
After taking the book out she felt that the library was shaking along with her and she was not able to balance her control so she fell on the floor. But when she looked up she saw that the wall was slowly parting and a door was approaching her sight.
She stood up on her feet and opened the door in a second. The door lead her to an old room where everything was scattered all around the room.
But what caught her interest was the mirror that hanged on the wall and looked just like the one she has seen in her book. She went near the mirror and stared at it like she was appreciating it. Then she looked at herself and again her mind got covered with her thoughts.
She thought how pathetic and unorganised she looked after her heartbreak and how broken and hurt she actually was after the death of her parents in a car accident. She has never took a glance in the mirror after the bad things that happened to her. She felt distorted and depressed all of a sudden.
And by the next minute she was crying, something she didn't do even when her parents died. Sure it was the reason behind all her mental suffering and why she felt relived after reading those tragic stories. After crying for a while and reliving herself, she collapsed on the floor while holding the book.
Fera was unconscious for an hour now. She suddenly started opening her eyes and got up. She blinked twice before looking around where she was and found her self in a massive closet filled with highend clothes. ''Where in the world am I? '' Fera exclaimed.
