The next day a golden glare burst through the open curtains, making Avery who was still asleep immediately opened her eyes while groaning softly because she felt her body ache. This is her first morning as a newlywed. Avery had imagined the romantic things she would do with Laiv in the morning before they got into their respective routines. But Avery felt empty when her hands began to touch the side of her bed which Laiv had filled last night. With a feeling of half disbelief, Avery immediately opened her eyes and looked to herself at her empty right side.
"Laiv?" called Avery loudly. But only the silence that Avery got in Laiv's spacious room left only a little chaos, on the bed that Avery used.
