Chapter 26 - TWENTY SIX

Inside the car is only filled with the roar of the air conditioner which is turned on in the coolest mode to dispel the hot summer temperatures. Since leaving the hotel grounds ten minutes ago, the rental car driven by Lean had been silent and had grown colder. The two people, Lean and Avery, felt awkward with each other just to start a conversation. Actually, Avery was feeling awkward, while Lean was just letting Avery enjoy her nervousness.
