Chapter 29 - TWENTY NINE

Avery felt the sun was shining brighter today in Panama. She almost squealed with joy when she woke up to find Laiv sleeping next to her, holding her possessively. She rubbed the top of Laiv's head slowly, but didn't hope to wake him up. From Laiv's face, Avery found many streaks of fatigue which made her worried. She was afraid that Laiv's disease would recur because the man was too tired. Seeing Laiv, Avery remembered her promise with Lean yesterday. They will have breakfast together at nine at The Paradise. But now all their plans could not possibly have been carried out now that Laiv had returned. Her fun time with Leander ended last night.
