For more than thirty minutes Avery waited for Michiel in the living room nodding off. It felt like her eyes were very heavy, and she was hungry too. In addition, her damp clothes felt uncomfortable on jer body, making Avery feel very angry with Michiel for kidnapping her and ignoring her. Avery had been shivering to be in the living room alone all along. Not a single person there passed. Even the waiter, no one appeared just to greet Avery as usual. In the large living room, Avery was only accompanied by a few jumbo-sized photos, all of which had an unfriendly facial expression. All the photos on the wall are of Michiel's ancestors. In the last row of photos, Avery could see a portrait of Michiel's current face staring at the camera with a sharp and arrogant gaze. How disgusting! Avery thought irritably. No wonder Michiel went wild like that. He must have felt bored living in his luxurious, yet cold home. If his mother weren't around, Michiel would have been lonely and feeling empty.
