Chapter 16 - The Betrayal

Young Master Fu and Young Mistress Liu had been putting a lot of effort into a new project for the foundation—a programme to give underprivileged children in the city access to education and employment training.

They were eager to start the programme and truly impact the lives of these young people since they had funds in place from a number of benefactors.

But when they started contacting possible volunteers, they were aware of a fresh difficulty.

Many of the young people they were attempting to assist were afraid to join and full of doubt.

They didn't think anybody could genuinely assist them since they had grown up in a world where opportunities were rare and the deck was set against them.

Young Mistress Liu and Young Master Fu were aware that they needed to take action to alter these kids' attitudes.

To interact with them and demonstrate that there was possibility and optimism in the world, they made the decision to plan a number of events and activities.

Young people were invited to participate in a talent show that they hosted.

They planned a career fair where they met companies searching for fresh talent.

They even took them on a tour to the countryside so they could see the natural beauty and cultural variety of their own nation.

The young folks started to open up and have confidence in their abilities slowly but gradually.

They began to realise there was a route forward and that they could get over the challenges standing in their way to create a better future for themselves.

The development of these young individuals was proudly observed by Young Master Fu and Young Mistress Liu.

They were aware that their efforts were truly changing people's lives—not only their own, but also the lives of many others who would gain from their achievement.

They had hope and optimism as they saw the metropolis below.

They were aware that there was still a great deal of work to be done and obstacles to overcome.

They were motivated to continue working for a better society because they recognised their ability to change things.
