Chapter 59 - To The Airport (The Fight)...20

After he was done with the big boy, Lucas went after his little brother...

Taking the same route Timothy had taken...Lucas was faced with many different routes as he liked in different directions...

Closing his eyes, he took in a deep breath and then let it out...

Whispering, Lucas took off his glasses as he muttered;

"God...!"

"Where's my brother...?" He prayed.

His voice was soft...

As he was about to say something else, he heard a scream...

" 'Ahhhhhh!!!' "

Raising his head in the direction of the scream, he recognized his brother's voice amidst the scream.

Smiling, he wore back his glasses as he took in a deep breath again and then let it all out...

Looking up to the sky, he made a fist as he gently hit the left side of his chest, and then raising it to heaven, he gave a peace sign as he muttered;

"Thank You, Jesus...!"

And then he made for the direction of the sound...

The time he had arrived was the period when Timothy was moving forward slowly towards his brother...

He took a step forward...

But as his leg rose from the ground, he was about to put it forward to the ground, but paused...

Something pulled him back...

Slowly lifting his head, he saw a tree that he seemed to have not noticed before.

Furrowing his brows, Lucas stared at the tree...

"A tree...!"

"What...?"

Then something popped up in his brain...

Looking at Timothy, he saw that he hadn't turned back to look at the tree...

Taking stealthy steps, Lucas moved silently until he had crept up the tree and was well seated on a branch as he watched what was transpiring below the tree...

He wasn't in time to see how Timothy had thrown Bryan to the ground filled with dry leaves...

Watching, from the tree above, Lucas's fist tightened around a branch causing it to crack a little as his body muscles tensed up.

Timothy was a vampire that was looking to treat himself to a feast...

When Timothy had turned around and walked towards the end where he would wait for his friends to show up, Lucas jumped down from the tree as he landed closely behind Timothy and then readied himself...

So when Timothy turned around, the first thing that Lucas contemplated doing was punching him...

But he didn't realize he would do it on the best part...The Nose...

When the punch landed on Timothy's face, a crack sound could be heard as Timothy held onto his nose and cried.

"Ahhhh!"

Although Lucas had given him a punch to the nose, he waited for a little while to see what Timothy would do next.

But when he didn't do anything or say anything stupid, Lucas relaxed slightly as he liked at him with disdain and then turned as he headed for his brother.

Kneeling next to his brother, Lucas adjusted his glasses as he checked his impulse.

"He's fine...!" Lucas sighed in relief.

When he studied his brother's face, he remembered something.

Looking all over his brother's body he noticed something dark by the side of his brother, the side where he knelt with his brother's hand on that side...

Lucas' hand moved shakily, but stealthily and slowly as he placed his hand on his brother's hand.

Seeing his brother's hand stained with blood, his entire body began to tremble as he slowly moved his brother's hand away from that side so he could see that place properly...

He was also careful about not waking his brother up.

But the more he pulled his brother's hand away, the more his body trembled.

The more he saw the blood on his brother's hand, the more his fists tightened.

And the more the blood stained his hand, the more, he became silent...

Timothy had been watching him from behind since, still holding on to his already broken nose...

Lucas had become silent all of a sudden and this caused an odd feeling to creep up the spines of Timothy...

Looking all around him, Timothy got up and wanted to run, but he stopped the moment he got up...

Turning to look behind him, he saw that Lucas was still on the ground as he held onto his brother's hand limply...

Taking stealthy slow steps, Timothy moved towards Lucas...

Thinking of what he would use as a weapon, Timothy looked around him carefully, his eyes scanning the grounds and the entire environment for something that he could use to attack Lucas...

That is, something within his reach...

His eyes went to and fro, up and down, in search of something strong and sharp.

Finally, his eyes settled for a stick...

Looking at Lucas to see if the coast was clear, Timothy moved stealthily towards the direction of the stick...

Picking it up from the ground, and testing its thickness, Timothy returned to his track and continued from where he had stopped...

When he had reached where Lucas knelt, he tightened his grip around the stick, and then, raising it above his head, he brought it down with full force, on a stiff body...

When Timothy opened his eyes(that he had shut tight)...

Timothy saw the pieces of the branch that he had used on Lucas, lying on the floor...but in scattered pieces.

That's when it dawned on him...

When he realized that the body that he had used the stick to strike wasn't kneeling anymore, he slowly raise his eyes as he saw legs, standing akimbo, with hands by the side, chest broadened...

When his eyes finally reached up, he met unreadable eyes...

Unreadable eyes that Timothy could only guess had some feeling in them...

Anger...

With the remaining part of the branch in his hand, he raised it above his head again and was about to strike Lucas with it, but it was his hand that was grabbed as he was thrown to the side like unwanted cloth...

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

When Lucas had seen the amount of blood that his brother Bryan had shed, he felt weak...

He held onto his brother's hand as he also withheld himself from doing anything stupid.

Breathing in and out as he took deep breaths, Lucas wanted to sit on the dry leaves and mediate a little...but then...

'Why do you want to sit on the ground filled with dry leaves...?' Something asked within him.

'Ready yourself...Timothy would not back down...!' The still small voice within him said.

'He is going to use a branch stick on you, you have to ready yourself...avenge your brother show the him what you're made of...!'

'How am I sure that I would get that revenge?' Lucas asked within himself to the voice...

'Timothy is literally older than me and probably stronger than me...he's gonna kill me...!' Lucas thought as he doubted within himself.

'I'll never leave you, nor forsake you, child...!' The voice said.

'Haven't you heard that it is said by me, 'If you have faith, you can tell a mountain to move and cast itself into the sea?' ' The voice asked as it tried to point out something.

Lucas's closed eyes now relaxed as he took a deep breath...

Calming himself down, he recited;

"I will never leave you nor forsake you...I will never leave you nor forsake you...You can...I can command a mountain to toss itself into the sea and it'll do it...!" When he said that last part, he smiled.

How cool will that be?

If he commands a mountain to move and it does...?

It's going to be so cool, he would make sure he gets it on video...

But another reason made him smile, he was going to teach that good for nothing bully a very good 'never in his life would he forget' kind of lesson...

'Besides...didn't little Bryan show them what he was made of...?' The voice asked again.

Smirking, Lucas took a deep breath as he closed his eyes and became stiff...

Although Timothy had made sure to make his steps stealthy, he seemed to have been in such a hurry, he didn't realize he had accidentally made a sound...

Stepping on a dry stick, causing it to crack, Lucas used that to know Timothy's standpoint...

When he closed his eyes, he trusted the voice to tell him when to make a move...

Taking in three deep breaths and letting them all go, Lucas sensed a presence behind him.

Moving like the breeze, Lucas turned swiftly and brought his arm up to block the branch that was coming his way, only for it to break and shatter to pieces.

One funny thing was that, the branch that ha shattered was thick enough to break Lucas' hand, but his hand breaking it instead made him look extra strong...

Meanwhile, only Lucas knew what force was backing him up...

When he had gotten up, he could see the fear and surprise in Timothy's eyes when he saw the branch shattered pieces on the ground.

When he had wanted to initiate a second attack, Lucas anticipated it and as he brought his hand forward, Lucas swiftly dodged it and then gripping his forearm tightly, Lucas carried him and then tossed him to the other side...

The force that Lucas had used to grip Timothy was so strong, it seemed to have uprooted his arm from his socket, dislocating it...
