Chapter 13 - Mum and Daughter Time (Past) 12...

"What!!!" Temi silently screeched as she covered her mouth.

"You do know you have your daughter listening to every single word you're saying, right?" Temi's Mother asked her husband in between her clenched teeth as she held her smile.

Gulping slowly as he still held into his wife's arm, the smile still on his face, Mr Smith asked in between his bright teeth;

"What?"

Temi's Mother widened her eyes a bit, giving him a signal.

Moving his eyes away from his wife, Temi's Father looked at his wife again, and then turned behind him to look at Temi.

Their eyes meeting, Temi's Father widened his eyes as he asked;

"What?"

Temi quickly lowered her head as she giggled.

"What are you giggling about?" Her Mother asked with a smile on her face.

Raising her head as she tried to maintain a normal face, but her face altered from a smile to a normal face and then a smile again and then back to a normal face, before answering;

"Nothing!

"You had better get going to your room right now!" Temi's Father said.

"But...!"

Temi wanted to protest.

"But what? What do you want to see here?" Her Father asked.

Temi blushed as she slowly raised her hands to cover her reddening face.

"What? What are you blushing for?" Her Mother asked as she looked at her daughter in amusement.

Removing her hands from her face, Temi said with a frown;

"Blushing? I'm not blushing!"

But her parents wouldn't believe her.

"You sure you ain't got somebody you thinking 'bout right now?" Her Mother asked.

Temi widened her eyes in shock as her mouth fell agape.

"Mum!"

"Tems!" Her Mother called.

Her mother liked calling her 'Tems', for no actual reason, but that was her own nickname for her.

"I can't believe you just said that...!" Temi said a she lowered her head and covered her embarrassed face with her hands.

"Just said what?" Her Mother asked.

"I can't believe you just bursted that out!" Temi said.

"You just blew my cover off!"

Temi said again.

Her Mother that had been laughing, her laughter, elegant with her palm over her mouth, now stopped laughing and became serious as she looked at her daughter with a serious expression.

"Oh so you have somebody? Like a crush?" Her Mother asked.

Temi didn't hide anything as she nodded.

"Mm hm!" Temi said.

Temi's Mother feigned surprise as her mouth fell open and she turned to look at her husband, who's face was expressionless, with his eyebrow raised.

Looking back at her daughter, she asked;

"When did that happen?"

"Are you sure you don't have a diary at all?" Her Mother suddenly asked.

Temi's pretty young face went pale as she jumped up from off the sofa and ran past her parents upstairs.

"Where are you going?" Temi's Mother asked as she turned her head slightly to the side.

Still running upstairs, Temi answered.

"I'm going to check my diary!"

Temi's Mother chuckled.

"You wanna check if I've read your diary, right?" Temi's Mother asked.

Not denying it, Temi answered;

"Yes!"

"I'm sure you must have a crush on that boy, what's his name again?" Her Mother asked.

Temi paused when she heard that.

With her eyes widened, she thought;

'How did she know that?'

But she kept quiet, as she patiently waited to hear her Mother's words with her heart beating heavily in her chest.

"What's the boys name again, um...!" Her Mother said as she lowered her head on her hand as she appeared to be deep in thought.

Her Mother wasn't very keen on forgetting names.

What she was doing now was either, she was acting, that is pretending, ors she had actually forgotten and was trying remember.

But Temi opted for the first one as she knew her Mother too well.

She wasn't the type that could forget any name very easily.

So right now, she only looked at her Mother with a corner eye as she didn't trust what her Mother was doing.

She knew her Mother too well!

"E...is it...Oh yeah Ethan...!" Her mother exclaimed as she had gotten the anime if the boy.

And immediately, a door closed with a loud 'SLAM!'

Temi had slammed the door shut, causing her parents to look up in fear, her Mother especially.

All her Father did was ask;

"What was that?" He asked as he shouted.

"Nothing!"

Temi shouted from her room.

"Is it because of the boys name?" Her Mother asked.

"Is that your crush?" Temi's Mother asked again with a slight smile in her face.

Her husband looked done at her with a stunned look on his face.

"What?" He asked.

Temi's Mother looked at her husband still with the smiled on her face as she winked.

"No!" Temi opened the door and yelled.

Closing the door back, Temi's walked over to her bookshelf, where her books were all arranged and then picked out a book.

It was pink in color, had a little brown cross on the side, had a Barbie sticker with her dog, and then had some little gem green stones sprinkled everywhere, it was so pretty.

Opening it, Temi plumped herself onto the bed as she began to flip through the chapters as she asked;

"Are you sure you haven't read my diary Mummy...?" Temi asked as she shouted from her room, flipping through the chapters in the process.

"No, I never read your diary, I don't even know where it was in the first place!"

Her Mother said as she answered like as if she didn't know anything, meanwhile, only those that were downstairs knew how she actually acted.

"It was in the bookshelf, top rack...!" Temi shouted absent-mindedly.

"Oh, the book was In the bookshelf top rack, so now are you telling me that you've officially given me the permission to actually, like, read your diary?"

Temi's Mother asked as she but her thumbnail, as if testing her daughter's to know if she had unconsciously said that.

It was here Temi realized what she had said and then using her hand to cover her entire face, Temi fell backwards onto the bed.

When Temi's Mother didn't get a reply, she smiled broadly as she asked again;

"So are you?"

"No!" Temi screamed from inside her room.

"C'mon, lower your voice down...!" Her Father said as he tried to reduce to amount of shout in the house, but he was shinned by his wife.

"But you just told me where your diary's located...!"

Temi's eyes widened when she heard that, looking around her room, Temi murmured to herself as she said;

"I need to change the position of this...!" And with that, she looked down at the book in her right hand.

"So are you still giving me the permission to...!"

"You've already known my biggest secret, so why do you want my diary again, what do you want to use it for?" Temi cut her Mother off as she asked.

"I don't know, maybe to know your darkest secrets...?" Temi's Mother asked as she played with her.

Temi kept quiet.

After some time, Temi's Mother called.

"Temi?"

No answer.

Her Mother smiled as she likes at her husband.

"Temiloluwa...!"

No answer.

Turning to her husband, shee said;

"That's how you deal with children!"

And with that, she looked at her husband and then winked.

Then she suddenly asked;

"What were you saying earlier?"

Turning to look at his wife, with a slight form which indicated confusion, he asked;

"What do you mean?"

Lowering her voice as she moved closer to him, closing every space in between them, she placed her hand in his chest and said;

"You know what I mean!"

Her voice demanding.

Mr Smith couldn't hold himself and smiled.

Turning his body to face her fully, he wrapped his arms around her waist and then pulled her in closely bit gently.

He was scared see strong force would break her delicate waist.

"So you're ready for it?" He asked.

Tilting her head, Temi's Mother looked down at her husband's chest.

Thankfully he was wearing nothing but a singlet, so she moved her fingers up and drew circles round and around, making him lose himself.

"You know that as you're doing that, I'm losing my mind, right?" Temi's Father deliberately asked unable with hold himself any longer.

Looking directly into the eyes of her husband, Temi's Mother said in a low whisper;

"That's what I want!"

And then without further persuasion, Mr Smith carried his wife upstairs.

And as he opened the doors and put his wife down on the bed and went to lock the door, Temi's Mother looked at her husband firm behind.

She had really gotten a good treasure and she was really blessed.

"Why did you bring up that idea at that time?" Temi's Mother asked.

"Couldn't you wait a little bit?"

Returning from locking the door, Mr Smith took off his singlet as he climbed onto the bed.

"I could, but something told me to have us go give it a try one more time...!"

He said.

"Maybe this time, we could get it!"

When he said that, Mrs, Smith turned to look at him, with her eyes open wide.
