The students were walking up the hill, while talking about their new affiliations.
"I just got so much more powerful in combat. Maybe the technique didn't change, or the physical power, but with my IQ, being able to create things at any spot I want will make it much easier for me to think of more possibilities." Roxanne said removing her gloves and putting them in her bag.
"My ring, it will make me change into the dragon I want... This is very interesting," Dylan said in an uninterested tone.
Jason on the other hand was surprised. He could feel more powerful physically, but there was one problem... he couldn't feel his elemental power anymore! He even tried to create a water arrow, but he couldn't.
'It's better if I hide it to them for now, maybe the 2nd Origin had a temporary side effect on me..." He thought.
"Well, here's one thing I can tell you, I feel way more powerful physically. I also feel like my senses are higher. Maybe that my affiliation wasn't unlocked, but my second origin was unlocked..."
"I don't know dude, but don't lose hope, you can always get an affiliation from the league of rangers (rangers association)" Tyler said.
Mitsuki nodded with a smile as they were walking higher and higher up the hill.
"I don't understand, how are you guys holding weapons so massive without a single effort?" Mitsuki asked Tyler and Jason.
"The weapon is so light, it's like I'm using a toy axe..." Tyler said and Jason nodded.
Jason had the biggest weapon in terms of width, but Tyler had the biggest weapon in terms of length. Due to that, Tyler held his axe on his shoulder, while Jason put it on his back.
They were walking, and suddenly, it was evening before they even knew it. It was starting to get even more cold the more they were going up. Luckily, Baba Yaga gave them tents so they could be able to sleep just in case they didn't get to the top on time. They set up the tents and went to sleep. Each of them had a tent, so they were also alone.
Jason was sleeping in a yellow tent, he was so tired that at the instant he lied down, he tells to sleep.
In his dream, he was in a place where it was pitch black, with water everywhere on the ground.
"I remember here, it's..." Jason was interrupted by a glimmer of light miles away from him.
He started walking towards the light, the. he started jogging, the. he started running. As he was running towards the light, he felt colder and colder
Suddenly, the light disappeared, and he stopped running. He started hearing voices in his head.
"Who's there!? Show yourself!" Jason shouted, and when he turned around, he saw the Ice king.
Jason fell to the ground because of fear, and the Ice King walked towards him. He didn't have his sword this time, but every step he took turned the area he stepped on into ice.
"You don't have your water power anymore..." The ice King said.
Jason didn't say a word because he was too scared to speak. The Ice King smiled as he looked straight into Jason's eyes.
"Your Water power was weak, let me give you something way better..." The ice King suddenly tried to grab Jason's head, and it was at that moment that he woke.
"Holy shit!" Jason yelled sweating because of his dream.
He removed his sweaty shirt and took a towel, and cleaned his sweat. He then went outside the tent to pee.
When he was looking for a place to pee, he saw Tyler trying to swing his axe. The axe was so long, but Tyler was swinging it with such ease. Jason chose to pee first before going to meet Tyler.
"Hey Tyler, I see you're testing your axe..." Jason said.
"Yeah, I'm not tired and I had nothing to do," Tyler swung his axe horizontally and vertically.
Jason sat on a rock next to Tyler and watched him swing his axe. There was something that wasn't right, every time Tyler was swinging the axe, he saw a sparkle of lightning appear, then he remembered that the blacksmith said that the more heat Tyler puts in his swing, the more lightning will come out.
"Hey Tyler, try to add some heat in your attack, you know like heat your arm up or something..." Jason asked intrigued about the outcome.
Tyler heated his hand and swung his sword, and a massive charge of lightning came from the sky and rushed down in the direction of the swing completely eradicating a tree.
Jason fell off his rock, and Tyler took a good 5 steps back surprised by the power of the attack.
"Very impressive, that attack nearly made me flinch for a second," a man in the shadows came out of nowhere.
He had a beard, with long brown hair (AJ styles), a leather suit with two swords on his back, and a dirty ripped cloak. It made him look like a traveller who lost himself or an exiled knight.
Jason and Tyler quickly put their guards up pointing their weapons at the man.
"Hey, I come in peace fellows, I don't want any beef," he then dashed towards them at such a speed, they didn't see anything coming. In a fraction of seconds, their weapons were in the hands of the man who was now behind them.
"Anyways, you guys are way too slow to do any damage to me..." he said confidently.
Tyler was already heated up, he sent a fire beam which was similar to a dragon breathing fire. The man started running away from the fire in circles, while Tyler was rotating the beam.
"Jason, use your blessing!" He shouted.
Of course, Jason wanted to, but he simply couldn't. He tried as hard as he could but nothing was coming out
"Why isn't it working!?" Jason closed his eyes and tried to call put his blessing, but the only thing that came was the Ice King's voice.
He he he, here, just like that serpent, I'm going to give you a small gift..." he said in Jason's mind.
Suddenly, rather than water coming out of Jason's hand, ice spikes (hint: Shoto's favourite ice attack) came out starting from his feet. This time, for the man to dodge that attack, he had to use his godly speed to quickly go behind Jason before he could complete his attack.
The ice spike was so large in terms of height, that it could be seen from Baba Yaga's house.
Tyler himself was surprised, he didn't know Jason could use Ice! However, it's not only his ability that changed, his appearance as well. He now had white hair, bright gold eyes, and his skin colour became a bit more white (book cover).
'The last time I saw this attack was 5 years ago...' The man told himself, 'could it be that this boy is the new sealer?'
Jason realized his slight change in skin and also the big ice spikes that were in front of him. This attack woke Mitsuki, Roxanne and Dylan up as well. They ran in Tyler and Jason's direction and noticed the ice spikes and Jason's change in appearance.
"Are you ok Jason, and who is this dude?" Mitsuki asked helping Jason to stand.
"Hey, don't worry, I'm a friend, I don't mean any harm," The man said trying to defend himself, "I was just walking around, and I saw the kids,".
Jason was escorted to his tent where he has a chance to rest, while the others try to discover who the man was.
