"What are you doing in the middle of the woods?" Tyler asked the man, "Im sure this isn't a coincidence, from what I've seen, just your speed and reaction time, It exceeds even an A rank ranger..."
The man looked quite normal, he had great manners, he was always smiling, and his long hair was too neat and perfect to say he was a hobo or some kind of poor dude.
"I am just a traveller, I was walking around and I fell into you guys," the man responded, "I should be the one asking you kids what you're doing here... Your uniforms are of Dainsleif academy, so tell me what Dainsleif students are doing so far away from the academy?"
"We are on a mission," Roxanne responded without hesitation.
"On a mission without a ranger scout to accompany you?" the man asked.
"She's on her way right now, she told us to started walking while she will gather more equipment. We are here for the Gorilla King." Roxanne was used to these types of situations, all her life, her father trained her to lie when necessary without flinching.
"The Gorilla King!? You guys are way too weak to fight the Gorilla King, you would get shredded in pieces!" The man said bursting in laughter.
The teenagers didn't understand what was funny, they felt they were powerful enough to fight the Gorilla King, so where was the problem?
"What do you mean, do you think we are still too weak for the Gorilla King?" Mitsuki asked.
"Of course you are!" the man said patting Mitsuki on the back, "the Gorilla King is large but fast, and your reaction time is too slow, you will never be able to keep up with his speed."
The students felt discouraged by what the man said. They believed they would be able to be at him as fast as possible to save Alexa.
"Don't worry, I can train you to become more powerful," The man reassured them, "To be honest, it isn't a coincidence I'm here, the one who sent me, is Dominique Toretto!"
Everyone was surprised, but not that much, they couldn't expect the Principal to let them go on such a dangerous mission without him being sure they were ready
"Listen, I understand you guys have a lot on your shoulders right now, and this is why I need you guys to act like real rangers because what Is about to come is war, not a tournament, but war." the man had a serious voice all long trying to give them his message in the most serious way possible.
They all stayed quiet for a second, thinking about how war was. It was true that they were taking this too childishly, they had to understand that they had a lot to come their way, so they had to act mature.
What else could they do apart from accepting the offer? They didn't have a choice, although divine affiliations made them slightly stronger, they would still struggle to defeat even a Class 1 demon.
"I mean, what do we have to lose? It's not like we have anything to lose, as long as we get more powerful, I don't see the issue..." Dylan said, he seemed to be more open the more they were staying together.
They all agreed and assumed that Jason would agree as well. This mysterious person was now their mentor, but they didn't know who he was...
"Hey, you never told us who you were," Tyler said curious to know this person's identity.
"You can call me Bruce," the person said.
Bruce was a great name, especially for his personality. He informed them that training would be early in the morning.
"Hey kiddos, training will be early in the morning. As soon as you get out of that tent, you on me alright?"
Without answering because they were too tired, they headed to their tents and had a good night sleep.
Jason who was unconscious dreamt about Ice King once again. This time, he was in front of an ice castle. The bridge was made of ice as well as the fat and the castle.
The ice gate opened, and Jason entered it. All he could see in the castle was a large hall with a throne in the middle. On the throne, there was an ice statue. The ice statue was a representation of the ice king.
"It's that dude that keeps haunting me...." Jason whispered, "so he was some kind of emperor or something?"
Suddenly, everything turned black, and he was back in the chamber he previously was in in his last dream.
"You know, my last sealer succumbed to my call, and fell in darkness. I took possession of his body, while his soul died slowly," the ice king said presenting himself to Jason.
"Well, luckily I'm not weak like your previous User! What did you so to my blessing!?" Jason yelled.
"That weak blessing of yours? You know, before the world went through a period of drought in magical power, blessings were everywhere and powerful. Some blessings could destroy a whole planet... But now look"
The Ice King walked towards Jason lifting his hand in his direction and reaching out for him, and at the before they made contact, a large force repelled him, it was Bruce.
"Hey, you're the fast dude from the mountain, what are you doing here?" Jason asked.
"Well, I knew I felt that evil power burst out all of a sudden. Nice to meet you again Ice King, but I won't let you take possession of this body..." Bruce said.
He then snapped his fingers, and from above they could hear the sound of something falling at high speed. The man then dashed at the Ice King, kicked his knees making the Ice King kneel.
Then, two poles landed on his ankles and firmly pierced through them. Bruce snapped his fingers again, and three chains fell from above, left and right. The Ice King tried to use the attack Ice spike, but Bruce was so fast he chained him on the neck and the hands.
"Well, then, it seems like you are still a monster despite your loss in power Bruce Robert..." The Ice King said chuckling.
'Bruce Robert? Wait, is he the most powerful ranger?' Jason thought.
" You'll stay here for now, until we find a way to destroy you..." Bruce said.
"You think you can destroy me? I am all-powerful, you can't stop me, the more you will keep me in these chains, the more my return to this world will be terrible!!!" Bruce turned his back on the ice King while he was speaking.
"It's time for you to wake up..." Bruce said.
Suddenly, Bruce snapped his fingers, and Jason woke up from his dream once again in sweat.
