I tried desperately hard to pay attention during lunch but I felt myself drifting every few minutes. I wished I could have just nicely declined to go out so I could sleep, but Amanda was so insistant she would have asked a thousand questions on why I wanted to stay. We were sitting on the balcony of a beautiful restaurant Amanda had picked under a giant umbrella. The view of the sea was magnificent and I felt as if I could just stare at it all day.
The round table we were seated at had me between Edward and Amanda, whilst Marco was next to Amanda and Delunca between Marco and Edward. Now that we were in public we could not really be as touchy or romantic as I would have preferred, but Edward seemed to completely forget about that. At moments he would brush my hair away from my face and tuck it behind my ear, or put his arm at the back of my chair as he conversed with Marco.
