| Wedding day |
---
As the sun began its descent, casting a warm golden hue across the land, Snow and Chalee made their way to the small church to register their wedding. The evening air was fragrant with the scent of flowers whose petals gently closed, falling like blessings from the sky. It felt as if the universe itself was smiling upon them, the sun's gentle rays offering a spiritual benediction to the couple.
*At the Church*
The ambiance was ethereal, almost heavenly, as if the church had transformed into a divine sanctuary welcoming Snow and Chalee to unite in matrimony. The priest's voice resonated through the sacred space, "Now the bride may enter." Snow, adorned in her bridal gown, moved with grace and poise, her eyes sparkling as she gazed at Chalee, who stood waiting for her at the altar. His heart swelled with love, unable to see anything or anyone else but her.
Side by side, they looked deeply into each other's eyes, happiness radiating from their very beings. The priest instructed them to recite their vows, and they did so with heartfelt sincerity. The ceremony unfolded beautifully, a tapestry of joy and love woven into every moment.
Snow had the opportunity to meet Chalee's childhood friends, Kavin and Minju. Chalee introduced them with pride, and Snow couldn't help but notice Minju's stunning beauty, which was reminiscent of a top model.
*After the Rings Exchange Event*
As Snow mingled with the guests, her eyes caught sight of her parents, standing quietly with tears rolling down their cheeks. An uneasy feeling settled in her heart. Why were they here? Why were they crying? She remembered the harsh words they'd said to her, the day they'd told her to leave their home. A myriad of thoughts swirled in her mind, but before she could dwell on them, the priest's voice brought her back to the present.
"You may now kiss the bride," he announced. Chalee leaned in, his eyes locking with hers. "Snow," he whispered softly. Before she could respond, he captured her lips in a passionate kiss that made the world around them fade away. Despite her confusion, Snow couldn't resist him. The intensity of his kiss enveloped her senses, making her feel as if he were her entire universe.
The reception continued, and Snow and Chalee approached her parents to seek their blessings. Snow's father's words echoed in her ears, "Child, you could have told us about him. But you chose to marry this handsome man without letting us know a single thing."
Her mother, teary-eyed yet smiling, added, "He is so handsome. I wished for him to be our son, but I'm proud to have him as my son-in-law." Their words lingered in her mind, wrapping her in a cocoon of mixed emotions.
As the couple returned home, Snow found herself lost in memories. She thought back to the day she first met Chalee at the cafe. A chuckle escaped her lips as the memory played out in her mind. At that moment, Chalee approached her with a cup of coffee, his eyes filled with adoration.
"My dear wife, what are you thinking about? Is something bothering you?" he asked, his voice laced with concern.
Snow chuckled softly, "Just reminiscing."
"What were you remembering?" Chalee pressed gently, "Tell me, Snowie."
"Not now," she replied with a mischievous glint in her eye. "I'll tell you a year from today, at this very moment."
"Why not now?" he pouted playfully.
"It's a secret," she teased, her smile widening.
Chalee, determined to uncover the secret, left to buy her favorite chocolate, only to return and find her asleep, looking like a tired, adorable puppy. He quietly set aside his plan to uncover the mystery, content to watch her sleep peacefully.
