Chapter 6 - chapter 6_the dream of snow

---

As the snow fell gently outside, the world seemed to stand still. Inside their cozy apartment, Snow was lost in dreams, while Chalee, with a mischievous twinkle in his eye, picked up her phone and his own, changing the date to exactly one year later. He meticulously altered every date he could find, determined to play the ultimate trick.

| 15 Minutes Later |

Snow awoke, stretching luxuriously as her dreams faded. She opened her eyes to see Chalee's face, and a smile of contentment spread across her lips.

"Good morning, sleepyhead," Chalee said, his voice gentle. "Do you remember the secret you promised to tell me a year ago?"

Snow blinked, a look of confusion and suspicion crossing her face. "Senior, I told you I'd tell you in a year. Why do you keep asking about it now?"

Chalee grinned, "Because, my dear Snow, a year has already passed."

Snow's eyes widened in shock. "What are you talking about?"

"I'm not joking," Chalee said, his expression a mixture of amusement and mischief.

Snow grabbed her phone, her heart racing. To her astonishment, the date was indeed one year later. She quickly checked Chalee's phone and then looked around. The weather had changed; it had been sunny when she fell asleep, but now it was cloudy.

She pouted, feeling a mix of frustration and bewilderment. "Is this really happening?" she whispered to herself.

Chalee's laughter brought her back to the present. "Guess you'll have to tell me the secret now."

Defeated but curious, Snow sighed. "Alright. Do you remember when I asked you to marry me?"

Chalee nodded.

"Well," Snow began, "the day we planned to meet at the café at 6 PM, I had a class at 5 PM. I fell asleep after the class ended around 5:30 PM, and in that short nap, I had a dream. In the dream, I got a call from home, asking me to rush back. When I reached home... well, something happened."

Chalee leaned in, intrigued. "What happened?"

Snow blushed. "You can read about it in Chapter 3," she teased. "But that dream felt so real, it made me come to you with tears and ask you to marry me."

Chalee chuckled, shaking his head. "You're so cute, Snow. Even your dreams are dramatic."

Snow felt a pang of doubt. "But... why can't I remember anything from the past year?"

Chalee's laughter filled the room. "Oh, Snow, I tricked you. It's not really a year later."

Snow's eyes narrowed. "Senior, how could you?"

They engaged in a playful pillow fight, laughter echoing through the room.

After the chaos settled, Snow looked at Chalee, curiosity shining in her eyes. "By the way, why did you say yes to marry me without hesitation?"

Chalee hesitated, then smiled. "I've had a crush on you for a long time. I was too scared to ask you out, afraid you'd reject me. So, I watched you from a distance, happy just to see you. One day, you noticed me too, and I felt like I'd won the universe."

Snow listened, her heart swelling with each word. "Really?"

Chalee nodded. "It was like destiny wanted me to talk to you that day."

Snow moved closer, her fingers gently caressing his cheeks. She stared into his eyes and softly kissed his forehead. Chalee, surprised, pulled her into an embrace.

"I love you," he whispered.

"I'll love only you," she replied.

"My dear Snow, do I deserve your love?"

"My dear husband, do you even have to ask? I'm the one who should be grateful. How could someone as perfect as you love someone like me?"

Chalee opened his mouth to answer, but the doorbell rang. Snow started to get up, but Chalee stopped her.

"I'll get it," he said, walking towards the door.

As he opened it, the story paused, leaving the readers in suspense.
