The strange and glowing red beast turned its head around to Leigh, who had been floating up until now but had materialized when he saw the beast because he wanted a more accurate and closer view.
The beast had the appearance of a giant pig, with a massive torso, narrow legs, and long muzzles. The creature stood about 2.4 meters tall and had a powerful jaw and fangs.
These characteristics made it frightening, but if it had regular animal skin, it would not have startled Leigh in any way. But the trouble was that its skin was nothing like that of a normal animal.
The hell pig's skin had a dark reddish brown tint with cracks that radiated a lighter red color in some areas of the beast's body. The creature's eyes were brown. Overall, based on its appearance, this living being was nothing resembling a typical mammal.
Leigh stayed motionless and completely focused on the thing in front of him since he was unsure of the hell pig's ability. He was unsure because the beast appeared to be in hell, and the cracks on the pig's body were strange.
Despite the fact that Leigh had killed angels that appeared to be stronger than this animal, he was no longer certain because it looked as though there was always a being stronger than him. He just did not judge a book by its cover any longer, because a being can be incredibly weak or super strong regardless of how beautiful or awful it is.
With this in mind, Leigh merely watched the beast's every move and tried to be as cautious as possible.
The hell pig, on the other hand, lacked the wisdom and experience to recognize Leigh's might; it only saw Leigh as another beast against which it had to battle in order to maintain its pride as a beast, as Leigh was not fleeing either.
The beast leapt forward at an incredible pace for humans, but it was too fast for Leigh, who effortlessly ducked to the right.
The pig, however, turned back its head and opened its jaws before Leigh could act. Because he was not in immediate danger, Leigh was able to evaluate the events of the fight in front of him due to his quick thinking speed.
Leigh could see the pig's throat glowing orange before a massive torrent of flames erupted from its mouth. It wasn't a fireball, but rather a stream of flames that seemed to be an extension of the pig's body because it could regulate the flames' direction and intensity.
The flames were still shooting out of his mouth, which was strange to Leigh because he assumed it was magic. Leigh took a step back until the flames died down, then leapt forward through a wall of shadows he had made to confound the beast.
Leigh deformed himself into his flying state as he approached the beast, then returned only his hand to normal when he was beside the pig. Leigh could now only materialize a portion of his body when flying or hovering because his flying proficiency was extremely great as a result of him flying nonstop for two years.
His hand then pounded the beast on its side with incredible force, penetrating the beast and destroying its insides, instantly killing it.
Leigh was not startled because he knew the beast was weaker than him the moment he observed the beast's speed, but he remained cautious until the end. The beast was thrown to the ground, its blood splattering everywhere.
Leigh then closed up on the pig and willed himself not to consume it because he was aware of what would happen if he touched the pig without first preparing, unlike the leaves of the iron tree. He then examined the pig's throat and internal organs.
What Leigh discovered was nothing short of astonishing. A very little organ with a purple liquid inside it existed inside the pig, near its lungs. On the neck, there was also a covering of a colourless liquid.
Based on what he discovered, Leigh was certain that the organ was not necessary for basic survival and that it appeared unnecessary. He then took the purple liquid from its organ and dropped it to the throat's thick liquid coating.
Even Leigh was intrigued by what happened next. The liquids combined and a massive fire was formed, which was held in the pig's neck and did not escape the pig's body before it burned out.
'Interesting,' thought Leigh as he discovered the cause for the pig's skills. It wasn't magic at all; it was the product of a chemical reaction that Leigh didn't fully comprehend. After all, Leigh was familiar with chemical processes and high school chemistry, but he had never actually learned it, and his discoveries were the product of his curiosity about the non-existent magic rather than scientific reasoning.
Leigh then continued to consume the pig, which provided him some power because he noticed the quantity of his grains increase, but not significantly.
The truth was that the pig was in the lower spectrum of the low sub rank of rank 1 and it did not contribute much to a mid rank of the first rank, such as Leigh, but it was better than nothing because Leigh's power had been stagnant for about 2 years at the time.
Leigh immediately took off again, this time flying towards what he thought were the deeper areas of the forest.

I'm not an artist, so I won't be able to draw graphics for the animals in the novel, so I'll try to explain them using existing species (or prehistoric creatures).
In my mind, the hell pig resembles an Entelodont (also referred to as a hell pig), and its skin resembles a cross between the skin of an Entelodont and the skin of a hell hound. The pig's flames might appear to be a cone of flames coming out of its mouth or simply a flamethrower (maybe). In terms of the chemicals used to create the flame, I wanted to be as realistic as possible, and the compounds that came to mind were glycerin and potassium permanganate (they probably do not generate the amount of energy depicted in the novel but whatever).
I tried my best to explain, so ye, I hope it helps.
