"No. This is not a prank! This is serious we found some kind of black market shady place in a rundown dust factory. Where we just witn-ow!" Carter would yelp as Lilac jabbed him in the side earning his attention. Only so she could do the hand signal for quiet down.
Gulping, Carter hadn't realized just how loud he was being. Until he got the well earned slap from Lilac. "Right sorry." he would mutter before returning to his scroll.
Taking a deep breath, she really hoped that his outburst didn't get them caught. As she peeked out from their current hiding spot, taking a notice of a few of them looking around as if they had heard something. Taking a deep breath she knew that she had to come up with some form of hot girl shit to distract these guys. But how?
Taking a deep breath. Loki would look to Kersay silently, taking in the sight of her as she was normal now. "Did you flame boil your captors? Or are they in one piece?" Loki would ask the young woman. Still not having caught her name.
"Fortunately for you I didn't kill them. No need to stoop down to their level." She'd say in response leading him to the two unconscious bodies that laid on the ground. Both covered in heavy burns that would scar them for the rest of their lives.
"Well it just so happens you did by keeping them alive. For them death is probably a better escape." Loki would mutter searching their bodies. Pausing as he revealed a thorned rose on their left forearms. He knew this symbol all too well. And especially who it belonged to.
His biggest question though. Was why were they here? He didn't even know that they acted outside of Mistral. Much less this close to a huntsman academy.
"Something the matter? You look like you've seen a ghost." Kersay would ask over his shoulder noticing the thorned rose tattooed into their arms. "What's the symbol?"
"It looks similar to one I've seen from my hometown. Don't know if it is the same group or not though." Loki would say as convincingly as possible. He just gained this girls trust. There was no need for him to break it now. He just hoped she believed him.
"How can you be so certain?" Kersay would question obviously reaching for some form of information from him.
"Because they are known for robbing cart bound merchants of the trails of Mistral. They're a group of bandits. Not a group of idiots like these two are. Probably here with these symbols to try to frame a orginization in Mistral in case they get caught." Loki would explain looking at Kersay. "As I said. There's no way it could be people from Mistral."
"You seem pr-" Kersay would be interuppted by the sound of a walkie-talkie whirring to life.
"Rampage is on the hunt! Find the bastard sniping us!" The furious yell of a woman would snarl from the device. As both Kersay and Loki paled at the revelation. There were more of them. And the intruder sniping, had to be either Lilac or Carter. Dammit couldn't they not get themselves into anymore trouble than necessary?
Deciding against her better judgement Lilac would move away from Carter.
"Lilac, what're you doing?!" Carter would ask in a hushed whisper lowering his scroll from his ear.
"Hot girl stuff don't worry about it. You just focus on getting us help." She would whisper back at him. "You need to stay put. I'll distract them, just make sure they get here fast."
And with that she was gone before she could listen to any words of protest from out of him. Using her semblance on herself Lilac floated up to the hanging walkways that were about thirty feet in the air. Grabbing the railing she'd guide herself until she was just over it before deactivating her semblance. Landing just a bit too loudly. Cringing as the sound echoed throughout the room. She'd draw her bow knocking an arrow, aiming it to one of the men farthest in the back of the group. Hoping to catch them off guard. Pressing a button on the neck of the bow. as a small blue dust crystal imbedded itself into the arrow tip. Coating it with a layer of ice.
Taking a steadied breath, she'd loose the arrow sending it flying through the air towards the one all the way in the back. Striking him in the chest freezing him in place almost instantly. Before he fell over with a panicked cry of pain leaving his mouth.
Earning the attention of the three others who were ahead of him. "Sniper!" The one closest to the people working would yell. Only to be frozen just like the one before. Checking the gauge on the side of her bow. Lilac figured she had enough for a few more arrows before having to go for a different element.
She'd begin running across the upper platform garnering the attention from everyone below to her. She needed to buy enough time for Carter to call help. And this was the best way she thought about doing it. Even with hindsight being 20/20. She continued to run as the sounds of gunshots rang throughout the room with the bullets hitting the walkway. Just barely missing her.
Pressing another button on her bow she'd change the element to fire. Before quickly knocking another arrow and sending it flying to the ground below. As soon as the arrow made impact with the ground it erupted into a brilliant explosion of flames. Consuming the nearby table. What she didn't expect to happen next though. Were the elements on the table combusting shortly after, generating a chain of explosions. That caught people nearby within it.
Even being thirty feet in the air. The cacophony of the explosions one after the other was enough to disorient her.
Shaking her head. She'd hear the gutteral yell of the woman in green. Before a portion of the walkway was consumed with flames.
"Get your ass down here bitch! It's time to end your life!" She would roar but before Lilac could fall to the ground she felt arms wrap around her before suddenly and quickly being shifted through the warehouse into a portion of it that wasn't currently consumed with flames.
Blinking she'd see Carter holding her close before quickly letting go and rolling away. "You call that hot girl shit Lilac?! What you did was fucking crazy!" He would yell at her.
"I didn't think that there were going to be explosives there! I just happened to get lucky with that. And I caused one heck of a distraction!" Lilac would say both horrified and proud of herself as a further realization sank in. "We really have to get out of here. But we can't without Loki or the other girl."
With that horrifying truth sinking in. Now was the time to act before all of them were severely hurt. Or worse.
