Biting her lip in pain. Kersay tried her best to hold herself up, in an attempt to keep the cuffs from digging into her wrists. She had been hanging for what felt like forever, and the tickling sensation she felt as her blood trickled down her skin drove her insane.
Her captors could have at least been gracious enough to leave her in a unexposing position. But then again, what did she expect from kidnappers? To not have a woman in a position to where her bits were almost easily accessible? Next time she was definitely bringing her weapon along. Even if she was only going out for a soda.
Looking around. She'd notice that the two men were currently engrossed by a card game. Having lost interest in her almost entirely. At least they weren't complete pigs.
Taking a deep breath she was taking the moment of reprieve she had. And tried to focus through the pain. Through the shame, as she reached deep down within herself grasping the wellspring of power she had within. Opening her eyes, flames would flow from her eyes as she fully reached into her powers. Heating up the cuffs that were digging into her wrists until they melted. Letting her stand without having to stretch herself out. Man it felt good to not be held up.
Turning to the two men who didn't seem to notice that she had broken herself free. As she started towards them she noticed the door all the way on the end of the massive room open. With three people sneaking through them.
Frowning, she didn't know if they were with her kidnappers, or if they were a part of something different. Maybe a rescue party? That fact felt impossible since the only person who saw her get kidnapped had recently become intimate with the ground.
Sneaking behind a set of disabled machines. Loki would look to the two accompanying him. Holding a finger over his lips signaling for them to be quiet. They couldn't afford to be spotted when they didn't know what they were up against. Or how much they were up against. From what he could tell there were two deeper in, and something that seemed akin to an angel. And if that was something they had to worry about. They were indeed screwed. Especially since he had never seen anything like it in his short life.
"You guys ready?" Loki would ask the two gripping his knives tight preparing for a fight that could be a nasty one.
"Ready" The two would say in unison. With Lilac holding a thumbs up to him.
Nodding Loki would round the machines freezing in place as the angel looking thing was now in front of him. Flames flowing from her eyes. Loki never had the tendency to run or turn from a fight. But the woman before him right now, was giving him more reasons than any to run. Yet there was that part of him that refused to.
Stealing his nerves he stood tall before the floating woman. Leveling a carnal stare at her as Loki prepared himself for a fight.
"Are you with my kidnappers?" The woman would ask her silver hair flowing around her head.
"Carter! Is this the chick that got kidnapped? You failed to fucking mention her semblance is quite powerful!" Loki would growl not taking his gaze off of the woman. Ready to fight at a moments notice.
"I never saw her semblance before I didn't know what she was capable of!" The pink haired man yelled. As Kersay focused on him as recognition quickly washed over her face.
"Are these your friends?" She would ask looking from him to Loki. Who continued to hold fast with a defiant fire burning within his eyes.
"They're the people who wanted to help without much questions being asked." Carter would admit rubbing his arm.
"More like we were dragged into this shit because of a certain idiot leading kidnappers to my door." Loki would growl pinning Carter with a glare.
"So you went to two random strangers, in hopes that they would help you. And they did so rather willingly after you put them in danger? I don't know...seems pretty shady to the person who just broke out of her cuffs." Kersay would say in a low tone leveling her eyes over the group. Sizing each of them up. Yet she wasn't able to totally size up the male right before her. There was something about him that she couldn't quite put a finger in. And yet it was something that easily made him dangerous.
Raising her hand slowly, she'd manifest a fireball that hovered just above her palm. Before choosing whoever it was she planned to take out with it.
Realizing that she was readying an attack Loki would quickly toss a knife towards the flame backing up into Carter and Lilac forcing them back.
"You two need to run. NOW!" Loki would yell as the knife hit the fireball. Which caused the explosive dust within it to heat up rapidly before it blew up. Causing Kersay to flinch as she quickly moved backwards.
Having bought them time Loki would push the two forward as they all began to run through the factory.
"Weren't we trying to save her?!" Lilac would yell as she ran, turning to see if they were being followed. Which so happens that they were. With Kersay quickly gaining on them on foot. Just how fast was she?
"You two keep moving on. I'll buy us some time." Loki would say skidding to a stop pulling out his revolver and pointing it at Kersay. Letting loose all six bullets. Which were all deflected with ease. Without the use of a weapon. Just what was the extent of her semblance? Was this one that nobody had ever seen before? Or was it some kind of freakish mutation of fire manipulation?
Either way, the kidnappers he thought they would have to worry about were no longer the apparent danger. As of right now, the person he came here to help was who needed to be put down. And it was up to her whether she lived or died.
