All forms of the gates of life that determine the future fate of mankind in this world are the gates of the future.

Generally the gates of the future only exist when humans die, where when they have met their end, their lives will be confronted by the choices that determine their fate in the future. Exceptions to other races such as monsters or demons and such, they were not given the gates of life even though they had already been brought to life in this world.
A human wouldn't be able to be reborn into a monster, that's the rule that exists in this world. They could be spirits but still be human....
And those who are dead will not be able to return.
