Quinn wanted to look at the details of the gear so bad that he could not even suppress his smile as it widened enough to almost reach his ears. The look of every single piece of equipment on the table was simply... divine. That was the only way he could explain it.
First off, The [Celestial Lich King's Crown of Malignance]: it radiated with immense dark power. Quinn recognised it immediately as it was literally the same crown that the Lich King that he fought wore; or it looked the same, at least. The material that the crown was comprised of had a deep, glossy black surface that seemed to absorb light, creating an aura of dark elegance. The crown has a regal and imposing structure, with a base that wraps around the wearer's head in a series of pointed arches. Each arch tapers to a sharp point, giving the crown a menacing and majestic appearance.
The centerpiece of the crown bore a large Soul Stone—a by-product of his research on the Soul Core and the creation of the Soul Catcher, according to Andre—a gemstone that radiated a faint, eerie glow. This diamond-like stone is a deep, smoky gray, with swirling patterns of darkness and light within its depths; resembling a yin and yang. However, the two were not in harmony; nor were they mixing with each other. They were just overcoming one another, time after time, continuously.
The silver filigree that surrounds the Soul Stone is etched with dark runes and glyphs that enhance the crown's magical properties. The before, dark and necromatic symbols on the sides of the crown, were altered; also, they were now glowing with a faint ethereal silverish glow. The crown stood out as different to the other equipment pieces. Quinn only needed to learn what the Soul Stone could do, and he was looking forward to it.
The [Celestial Green-Dragon's Scaled Torso]: it was crafted using the Celestial Essence and the many scales of the same Dragon that Quinn fought as a boss in one of the Weekly Quest Dungeons, and some other bolstering materials that Andre added. Each scale shimmering with a deep emerald hue that appears to shift and ripple as light dances across its surface. The armour was made so that it fit snugly around Quinn's body and even allowed him unrestricted mobility. The armour was engraved with intricate runes along its edges; a finishing touch of enhancement that Quinn was most grateful for. The shoulders are adorned with slightly larger materials, fanning out to provide additional protection; they looked more like claws than anything, giving a more menacing look to the armour.
The armour was primarily an iridescent Emeral green due to the scales; the same were lined with silver along the edges, and were enhanced with accents of fiery red-orange runes and a matte dark green underlayer.
The [Celestial Balrog's Gauntlets]: it was crafted, again, using the Celestial Essence that was used for every piece of equipment that was to be made for Quinn, and essence of a Balrog; one of—if not the strongest being that he had ever fought. They radiated with intense heat and a dark energy. The gauntlets were made from a dark, almost blackened metal with veins of fiery red and orange running through it, resembling molten lava encased in obsidian. The gauntlets were heavily plated, with overlapping segments that provide both flexibility and formidable protection. The segments were shaped to mimic the musculature of a powerful, demonic arm; a similar sight to when Quinn would use his [Darkened Hand] Darkness Skill, back in the day.
The fingers were clawed, each tip ending in sharp, glowing red talons. Runes of power were etched into the gauntlets—at the back of the hand—resembling slits of demonic eyes that glowed with an eternal dark-red flame, glowing a deep crimson and pulsing with an inner fire that seemed like it would burst out through the tips at any point.
The gauntlets were primarily obsidian-black with fiery red-orange viens that flowed across the length of it. It was detailed with a slight silver to match with the rest of the equipment as well: with its wrists being covered in silverish chains.
The [Celestial Titan-Bladed Mantis' Legs]: a pair of greaves that streched to the high end of the thighs, inspired by the deadly precision of a mantis and the immense strength of a titan; the same could be said about the monster that Quinn faced in the Weekly Quest Dungeon. Constructed from a rare, lightweight metal with a dark green tint, these leg guards have a slightly metallic lustre, akin to polished jade or emerald; almost similar to the chest piece.
The legs are segmented with plates that allow for maximum flexibility and swift, precise movement. Each segment is sharpened to a blade-like edge, capable of cutting through most materials with ease. The outer edges of the segments are lined with small, fine runes that glow faintly green, enhancing the user's speed and agility according to Andre.
These leg pieces were primarily matte dark green with silver blades and inlays. Accents of emeral green runes and the fiery red-orange subtle highlights enhanced the looks to match with the other pieces of equipment, yet again.
The [Celestial Fenrir's Boots]: crafted from the Celestial Essence and the essence of the great wolf Fenrir—based off of the Norse Myth, it seemed like—and its claws and fangs. When Quinn fought it, it was definitely the most troublesome one because of its agility and powers related to ice and wind; but, it was not like Quinn was slow either. The boots were made from a dark, lustrous leather which was both supple and incredibly tough. Silver wires acted as laces that glowed in the dark slightly.
The toes of the boots are reinforced with silver caps, engraved with runes of speed and strength. The soles of the boots are made from a soft aestirum and mithril alloy, etched with patterns that resemble frost and ice. These soles are designed to provide both traction and silent movement.
The boots were primarily obsidian-black; much like the gauntlets, because of the base material. The silver soles, laces and detailings made it fit in with the other pieces; the same with suble emeral green detailings. However, the icy blue made it stand out slightly; as a opposition to the fiery red gauntlets.
...
Quinn was still stuck in trance, wondering: "Is this... really mine? It's so beautiful... definitely worth being called a Divine-tier armour set. Andre, I really can't thank you enough for making this for me. You have no idea how much this will be of help to me. With this... I'll have a chance."
"What are you planning to do with this kind of gear, kid? This level of armour would make even the weakest of mortals strong enough to compete with a Lord from any of the species; hell, it might even be enough to face against an elite Werewolf! I can see... anyone can see that you're already strong as hell. You're close to the point where I was already, and you say that its not even been 3 months since you got this Ring. I have you to thank for being able to acheive making Divine-tier equipment and ascending as a Divine Smith...
"But, kid, I hope you're not doing what I think you're trying to do. Stay. The FUCK. Away from those gods, kid! Nothing good ever comes when shit involves them! If you make an enemy out of one of them, you make an additional 20 or so! And, if you try and kill one, you make the entire pantheon your enemy. Stay the fuck away from them; just go on with their madness and if you win, you might become one yourself, but just don't taunt them. I can only help you this little. I trust you do the right thing."
Quinn never expected to get a lecture about this thing from Andre, but he was, of course, grateful for his guidance, "Thanks, Andre, I really mean it. And this little that you help me will become something far greater in the future. I promise you that. Trust that I won't mess with the gods for now. I need to get going in a bit now."
"For now, eh?" Andre continued, "Aren't ya forgetting something? Your weapon?"
Quinn had forgotten that Andre also made a new weapon for him, so he just had to check it out before keeping everything in his [Dimensional Storage].
The [Celestial Leviathan's Elemental Staff]: according to Andre's short explaination, was a weapon that he made from the essence of a Leviathan, a colossal, mythical monster that roams the vast expanses of outer space. Quinn just could not wrap his head around this, but it did not matter as of now; he was sure that he would meet a myriad of creatures in the future and surely, this would be one of them; a mythical god-like creature of the vast cosmos: a creature that was the origin of a certain type of Magic.
It is made of an alloy of the strongest metals available, even to the Dwarves. An alloy: of Diamond Magisteel chunks, astermite, etcetera. It was even a mystery to Andre as to why, but the shimmering stardust patterns embedded within seemed to constantly shift and swirl. The staff looked like any other three-section staff; however, this one was much more elegant, and had that divine feel to it. The runes and glyphs that Andre so givingly bestowed upon the masterpiece glew faintly with a myriad of colours: shimmering blues, stormy greens, and a vibrant and menacing red. But, they all paled in comparision to the mystery of the plain and simple grey.
To honour its very existence and the creation of such a masterpiece, Andre made sure that the upper section of the staff featured a sculpted representation of the Leviathan. The head of the Leviathan served as a focal point; its eyes, crafted from glowing opals: each one, swirling with a mix of colours reminiscent of galaxies. It was somewhat akin to a Chinese Dragon, however, it was not so magnificent; it was a being that instilled trepidation into the minds of other, inferior beings. Its appearance: beyond terrifying.
The lifelike detail that was present on the surface of it, sent chills down Quinn's spine. 'This is just an artistc representation of a power that is above a god, boy. Be sure to remember it well...' Void spoke out of the blue, only startling Quinn even more. Where the Leviathan's mouth opened, there seemed to be a void inside of it; Quinn wondered if this was related to the elements and it was some sort of a medium through which it could manifest their powers.
The primary colors were deep blues and blacks, accented with glowing elements of crimson, azure, and green, representing the various elemental forces. The subtle iridescence from the meteorite inlays added a dynamic, ever-changing visual aspect.
Quinn expected some sort of elemental crystal—like the ones he had seen embedded into some of Andre's equipment—however, there seemed to be none of the sort. The only thing he could make of this was: the runes that shifted in colours acted in the stead of elemental crystals. But, then again, something caught his eye: a single grey crystal on the Leviathan's head, reminiscent of the grey runes from earlier. Thus, he used his [Scrutinize] Skill: [Potential Element Crystal].
The middle section of the staff was quite interesting to say the least. Running through the core of the staff was a transparent conduit of sorts: [Elemental Energy Conduit]. This conduit, according to Andre, channeled the elemental energies from the runes throughout the staff, allowing the wielder to harness and direct immense power from said elements. And yes, it did include the Potential Elemental Energy that the wielder might possess: another element, so to speak.
The lower section of the staff was wrapped in a sort of silk to act as a grip of sorts; Andre called it Dimensional Silk. Dwarves were beings that could, apparently, interact with different dimensions and even cross through them; harnessing this power and using it to their advantage, they discovered multiple different types of exotic materials to use to forge weapons of even greater value and strength.
The base of the staff seemed peculiar as it featured the Celestial Essence that Quinn gave Andre as a gift to keep. However, the said Celestial Essence did not look the same as the he had given to Andre; this one looked a bit shruken. As such, it had some grey-areas with no energy.
Andre did not seem to want any other sort of compensation other than to work with said Celestial Essence; since Quinn did not like being ungrateful, he pulled out yet another Celestial Essence and shoved it into Andre's hand. "Keep it and use it for yourself this time. I'll talk to you if I find any more."
Andre was flabbergasted. To think a boy so young could just give out so many of these near-infinite sources of energy out of his pocket; he did wonder where Quinn found these, but refrained from asking. As he was about to say something, Quinn just up and bowed to him; a straight 90 degree bow. "I'm forever grateful for what you've made here, Andre. I can't express what I feel, but just know that I'm going to use these masterpieces well," Quinn added with a chuckle, "Unless they just break, of course."
"You sure know how to get on the nerve of a forger, kid!" Andre laughed, "I swear on my centuries of experience as a forger, my new title as a Divine Smith and my Ring Bearing name, that if any of these lovely things break, first of all, I'm going to beat the fuck out of you; and then, I shall give up all of my titles! Unless, hey, if the receiving end was a god, of course. I just hope that's not the case; cuz, if so, nothin' can scratch those beauties!"
