Shoto and Lawhey panicked.
"Don't just stand there, do something"
Shoto and Ryan said, as they shaked Helton. Ryan should have come out the other side, but because the pressure of suction was reduced, he was stuck inside.
Helton went inside, to get something to help with the situation. Lawhey followed Helton inside, whilst Shoto stayed outside pacing. Helton came out with Lawhey who was wearing a mask.
"Fasten this around your waist, I'll open the ring so you can go bring him back.", Helton said to Lawhey as he gave him a rope.
"Give me one of those, I'm going with you", Shoto said pointing at the mask.
Helton disagreed, he believed Shoto wasn't well enough to go anywhere. Helton opened the ring and let Lawhey in. He kept it open and asked Lawhey to yank the rope if he found Ryan. When Lawhey was inside, he head no sound, his flashlight was on but the beam didn't travel. The darkness consumed the light, he called Ryan and nothing. Not even an echo, he had lost his sense of direction. He kept moving forward, he turned and saw a spot of light. It was from the outside, where he came from. Seeing it opened made him a little comfortable, feeling he could leave anything.
Meanwhile Ryan was somewhere over there, he could see. He was looking for a way out of there. As he was looking he stumbled unto a door, a big metallic door that went on forever.
Suddenly, Ryan noticed someone was coming, he stood there waiting to see it was.
"Lawhey, what are you doing here? ", Ryan asked but Lawhey did not hear anything.
He touched Lawhey and he flinched, he immediately turned around and ran the opposite direction. He kept yanking the rope as he ran. Ryan followed him closely.
Shoto and Helton pulled him up, Ryan grabbed onto Lawhey. He kept screaming and kicking, he wanted Ryan to fall off. Finally they were both out.
Lawhey was surprised to see Ryan, but Shoto and Helton were happy to see him.
Lawhey shared his experience with Shoto and Helton. Then so did Ryan, he told them about the gate. He had never heard of a door in the vacuum. He asked Ryan to describe the gate. The moment heard the description, he thought of the six gates of hell.
Some people believed there are six gates in the world that lead to hell. Helton immediately got scared, back at the Smithsonian he remembered talk of how prophecy was written by a demon. For him it meant if Gate was real then so is the Prophecy.
"Anyway it seems you've gotten a hold of your breathing situation. You said you could see and hear inside the vacuum, you did that through spirit energy. Some more training and you would be able to sense about a mile away.", Helton said to Ryan.
"We are included right", Shoto asked.
"Of course", Helton replied.
Meanwhile in the vacuum, a creature with the head of a goat roamed. It had firery eyes and goat legs. It's horn were red hot and so was his axe. It was awaken from it sleep by Ryan and Lawhey. It saw Ryans aura, it followed it to the gate and sniffed it.
Suddenly a man appeared from the shadows, the goatman knelt. The man walk to the door smelt the aura. He then disappeared the way he came.
A girl about eighteen years was sitting behind a dressing mirror. Suddenly the man at the gate appeared in her mirror.
"Sillers,... what can I do for you", Cynthia said all shaken up.
"You said the vessel was no more, I felt it closer than ever. He was at the northwest gate, you failed. Fix your mistake or suffer the consequences.", Sillers disappeared leaving Cynthia in shock.
