Chapter 61 - The Word is Out

The next day Helton woke up and saw Lawhey training with Shoto. He was drenched in sweat, Helton saw he was serious about being strong.

Meanwhile, the picture of the Rubix Cube at the Field Gate had been given to Cynthia. She was looking for Shoto.

Their picture was all over the underworld. A man had the picture and was looking at it.

"The guy in the back he looks familiar", Raid said to the people around the table.

He passed the picture around the table.

"Yeah, this guy looks like Atta. The circus girl who use to ran for you.", a guy said to raid as he pointed at Lawhey in the picture.

"Oh yeah, the bendy girl. This might be an opportunity to get a seat at the void table. The widow wants them, I'll get her what se wants." raid said and laughed maniacally which resulted in a cough.

"Send the word out" Kaen said and gave the picture to a guy.

Back at Heltons, after Lawhey and Shoto were done with their workout. Lawhey picked up the sword.

"You should tie the sword on your wrist, you kept loosing it.", Helton said looking at Lawhey.

Shoto laughed at Lawhey and collected the sword. He swung it around with ease.

"It's balanced, you've been using crappy swords for a long time. You'll get use to it", Shoto said and gave him back the sword.

"It's because it's too heavy for me", Ryan said.

Helton collected the sword from Lawhey, and gave him a stick. He wanted to know if he was basically bad at swordplay, or the sword was just heavy. They crossed sticks, then Helton asked where he lent how to fight.

"I trained with a sword eater, in my circus", Lawhey said to Helton. He looked at him and chuckled.

"I'll teach you all I know. I trained under the sword Master Mint.", Helton said, and he knew Lawhey had heard of him, by the look on his face.

The Smithsonian knew they were hated, and even though there were protected by the leaders of the race. They brought in expects to train Smith in various forms of martial arts.

Most Smiths knew a form of martial art.

Mint was a master swordsman, there are tales of him splitting a mountain into two, with only a strike. It's been said he could cut a fairy's wing.

"Fine you can train me", Lawhey said.

Meanwhile back in Yooyi, Codin just was holding the picture of the Rubix Cube at the Field Gate.
