Helton head was out of his books, he went outside and saw Lawhey, with the sword.
"Where did you get that? ", Helton said and collected the sword from Lawhey.
"You told me I can use it", Lawhey said
Shoto saw them arguing and walked towards them. Ryan who was left behind, removed his blind fold and joined them.
"What going on here?", Shoto asked.
"He told me I could use the sword and now he's taking it back", Lawhey explained to Shoto.
"This is a Viking blade, you can't just play with it", Helton said.
"Did you say Viking blade?", Shoto and Ryan said with a stern face.
Shoto knew the story of vikings but Lawhey and Ryan didn't. Shoto had heard the story a long time ago, when the dragons were around. He never thought he would hear the word, viking from the mouth of a human much less a Smith.
"What is a viking?", Lawhey asked.
"Vikings are fairytales, that are told to Drakes to scare them.", Shoto said to Lawhey.
"They are actually true, vikings are real. I haven't seen one but, a fellow Smith came back with a viking blade and a map after his research.", Helton said.
Ryan knew of vikings, but he did not want to say anything. Lawhey wanted to know who or what they were and why he can't use their sword.
" Just tell us what a viking is", Lawhey said.
"Well, long time ago there were only three creatures in the world. The Dragons, the Vikings and the Leviathans. The dragon roam the skies, the Leviathans the seas and the Vikings the land. No one invaded anyone's territory but the land broke into pieces. The vikings trap they wanted to get to their other pieces of land. The only way was to invade another's territory, since they could not fly their only choice was the seas. They built boats and decided to cross but the Leviathans disagreed. They Leviathans had never tasted any food that wasn't in the sea. The vikings offered the animals on land as toll, if they would let them cross. When they Dragons saw the leviathans made a deal with the vikings. They decided to make one too, the asked the vikings if they could give them a piece of their land. The vikings refused, they said the needed nothing from the dragons. Some dragons stole the food from the land to make a deal with the leviathans. They allowed them swim in the seas.
When the vikings found out there were angry. The dragons argued they didn't step their foot on the vikings land. The sea dragons kept pushing the vikings lands away from them, as revenge for turning down their deal. Some dragons settled on these lands, which the vikings would come to claim.
At least that's how it was told. "
Shoto narrated the story to them, Ryan immediately knew it wasn't the story he new.
" So the vikings are like the dragons sworn enemies ", Lawhey said with a smirk.
