•Nia's POV
Emma and I arrived at a large grey building that was about three stories tall and had a large pink neon sign on the top that said "Saturn" in fancy cursive font. Once inside there were three levels, when in the middle of the first floor you could look up and see the second and third floors through a large glass panel ceiling. The first floor was a club, loud music blared from the dj stand. On the left and right sides of the large room there were two bars running the length of the side walls. The dance floor in the center of the first floor took up most of the square room. Surrounding the dance floor were tall standing tables and some with tall stools. The dj stand on the opposite wall to the entrance and long hallways on either side of it. Each hallway had four doors that led to karaoke rooms that could be rented out and a stair case to the next floor at the very ends. The staircases met and conjoined to lead up to the second floor but where they met there were three rooms. Not quite on the second floor but high enough to be above the dj stand of the first floor. The door more to the left was a men's restroom, the door more to the right was a women's bathroom, and the door in the middle was marked VIP only.
The second floor was a large restaurant with a black white and red theme, they too had a bar on both side walls but it was much more elegant than the first floor. The first thing you saw when you entered the floor was a lounge with a large grand piano. As I mentioned before you could see through to the second and third floor from the first because of the glass panel ceiling, because of this the second and third floors were arranged differently. All of the tables and usable floor space were off to the side since most of the room was a glass panel floor rendering the center portion of the room unusable. All of the tables in this room had a black or white table cloth, black or white chairs that contrasted the respective table cloth, and a centerpiece of red roses. Each place setting has a black or white cloth napkin that matched the chairs at each table and shiney sets of silverware. The people here were dressed more conservatively than those on the first floor but many of them were older than the people on the first floor. The room smelled of gourmet food and fine wine.
The third floor had many different rentable rooms and many tables and chairs. The rooms had many different uses towars the back were hotel rooms with large beds and fu bathrooms, the rooms to the sides were filled with different activities, there was a movie room on each side, one showed new trendy movies, one showed refined foreign films. Then in the front where you first entered was a large room that you could rent for parties, the doors had a plaque that read 'Banquet hall'. From there you could also access the roof which had a swimming pool, a large jacuzzi, a poolside bar, and even a water slide. The pool was contained a sort of temperature controlled green house. Outside the large glass pool room, were tables with umbrellas, a small Cafe, and many seats for admiring the view.
When Emma and I entered the first floor I was surprised she would bring me to a place like this but after seeing the whole building it made sense. When we first got there I allowed Emma to drink since we didn't work the next day. She had a fake ID so it wasn't a big issue. She had reserved us a joint room and found someone to watch the animals so I figured it wasn't a big deal as long as she didn't over do it. On the first floor we each ordered two shots to loosen up a bit. Emma then lead me to the dance floor and we danced through a few songs before we went to the second floor to have dinner.
We were escorted to a table near the bar but close enough to hear the soft melody of whoever was playing grand piano. We ordered our drinks and eyed the menu. As expected the food was for a sophisticated palette. once we decided what we wanted we closed the large, soft, black menus and waited for our server to jot down our requests. A man in a white button down and dress pants approached us "What would you two lovely ladies like to order?" he asked looking at Emma first.
"I with take the Lamb special with a sautéed vegetable medley" she handed the tall brunette man her menu. He quickly scribbled her order down and turned to me "And for you ma'am?"
"I'll have the chicken parmesan with breadsticks" My mouth watered as a spoke.
"Of course" the man bowed his head slightly before leaving.
I smiled at Emma "So you bought the rooms correct?"
"Yes" she pulled her wine glass to her lips and sipped. For a moment her eyes widened slightly and she looked in her glass. The wine is either really good or really bad but I wasn't ready to find out which it was.
"I will pay for dinner and two rounds at the bar" I responded, she nodded as she continued to sip her wine. It had to be good, I thought as grabbed my own untouched glass. I took a sip of the sweet and soft wine. It was gentle but strong, the best was I could describe it is as if it was wine flavored cotton candy. Each sip started off corse but quickly melted into something sweet and then it would vanish. It was like the wine melted away before you even had to swallow it.
"The server recommended the best wine I've ever tasted" I admitted.
"It's heavenly" she moan quietly as she drank.
"So how are things with you and your boyfriend?" I asked "Long distance is hard I'm sure."
Emma's happy face momentarily faltered then she answered disappointed "He dumped me yesterday."
"Is that why you drank?" I realized "Its been rough I'm sure" mourning the loss of loved ones and then adding a relationship, to the list of things to mourn.
"I needed a girls night out tonight bad" she smiled "let's get some guys tonight" she smirked and looked around the room.
"Our server is quite handsome" I told her as we watched him speak to another table.
"He is."
