Rose got out of the car, which had stopped running. The woman was still touching her head which was still sore from drinking too much Red Wine last night. Before actually stepping into the house, Rose turned and looked at the tall, slightly chubby man right behind her.
"Let me explain it to dad," said Rose to her bodyguard. The man nodded slowly and allowed Rose to enter the house. Several of the maids working at Rose's house were now welcoming the woman with their sweet smiles.
"What did you do last night? Why didn't you answer the phone call, Dad? Did you know I was very worried last night?" asked a middle-aged man who was on the sofa and was currently busy reading the business newspaper in his hands. The question managed to make Rose, who wanted to immediately enter her room on the second floor, stop her intention and look at the man while sighing.
"I'm sorry, Dad. Last night I drank a lot of bottles of Wine in the bar and I ended up staying at Katty's house," answered Rose who was now closer to her father. The man immediately folded the newspaper he was reading and looked at his only daughter.
Rose was a complete mess in Anthony Brooke's eyes. "Really? Are you sure you really did stay at Katty's last night?" asked the man again to be sure. Rose nodded slowly, still holding her head in pain.
"Of course, Dad. I'm 25 years old and as long as I've lived, I haven't lied to you," said Rose firmly. Anthony nodded his head again.
"Then go back to sleep in the room. Don't forget, tonight we have to meet the Morin family," said the man reminding what to do tonight. Rose sighed and the woman turned back and looked at her father.
"I've said it many times. I don't want to be matched by the Morin family. Did you forget about that?"
Anthony looked at his daughter and lightly touched Rose's shoulder. "How long are you going to continue like this? It's been three years since Damian left forever. Don't you really want a wedding? Daddy just helped you do it, Rose," said Anthony trying to calm his daughter. However, Rose was really stubborn when she heard the Morin surname. The woman changed the look in her eyes and shook her head decisively.
"I'm not going anywhere. You know, whatever you're doing right now, won't change me," said Rose firmly. The woman had now removed Anthony's hand that was touching her shoulder and rushed up the stairs to enter the room.
Rose locked her room and threw the black bag she was using on the floor. Then the woman's body had touched her bed and her gaze was staring at the ceiling of her room which was painted a mix of white and pastel pink. "Why does everyone still not understand if I still love you?" asked Rose as she looked up at the ceiling of her room. The woman took a deep breath before finally positioning herself to sit down.
Rose's blue eyes had now shifted to the row of photos on the table near the wall. The woman got off the bed and looked at all the rows of photos and took one of them. The same photo that Rose always uses to release her longing for Damian.
"You are very handsome. I am also very beautiful. And we are very happy in this photo, Damian," Rose murmured looking at the photo of herself and her fiancé. The woman hugged the photo frame quite tightly and didn't seem to want to let go.
The woman's blue eyes quickly turned teary. Rose lowered her head and let the feeling of longing embrace her this time. Now the only sound that could be heard was the woman's sobs as she hugged the photo frame that was now on her chest.
Anthony Brooke sighed, the man averted his eyes from the slightly ajar door of Rose's room. Previously, the man wanted to invite Rose to talk further about the matchmaking plan that Anthony really wanted to do. The middle-aged man couldn't bear to see Rose who had to be sad most of the time and spent her time only in the room and at the bar drinking.
"Why did you leave a wound for her so deep? Now Rose really can't let go of you even though it's been three years," Anthony Brooke muttered very quietly. The man decided to go to his room and let Rose who was crying louder.
"I should have saved you back then. How come I survived and you didn't?" asked Rose who was now staring at the photo frame in her hand. The woman gently touched Damian's face in the photo as if the man was going to answer all the questions the woman had just said.
Rose's whole body was back on the bed. The woman's hand was still holding the picture frame quite tightly. Rose's blue eyes slowly closed. And then, the woman began to enter the dreamland without her knowing it. Rose was sleeping soundly now. Really restful.

"Look at the road and stop teasing me," said Rose, smiling sweetly at her boyfriend behind the wheel.
"You know, I'm really good at driving. I can tease you whenever I want," Damian said casually. The man obeyed Rose's words to return to running the car properly.
Today, the two will take some pictures for the wedding which will take place in a month. All preparations had been made long ago, even the two of them had already prepared their wedding attire from a month ago. What they should now do is take some pictures as memories for the two after the wedding is over. And Rose was really waiting for this day.
The woman wore her wedding dress and was very beautifully made up. Damian did the same. Spring with a few cherry blossom trees as the backdrop for the photo shoot makes the resulting photo much more beautiful than the two of them expected. Everything went as it should during the shoot, everything was absolutely perfect for both of them.
"Look how beautiful you are in a wedding dress," Damian praised as he touched Rose's shoulder. The woman smiled sweetly and returned the camera to take pictures of the two.
"This is absolutely perfect. We're getting married in a beautiful spring soon. I really can't wait," said Rose quietly.
"I can't wait either. Imagining everything would turn out to be absolutely beautiful and perfect."
