Chapter 1 - A Nightmare

Amerra Kingdom Year 593

The morning sun shines down on the sparkling palace that sat on top a snowy mountain. Below this mountain are scattered homes of many colors, shapes, and sizes. We zoom in on the house of Kalvica to a bedroom on the second floor to the right. A young woman sits up in her bed after having a horrible nightmare. She reached up to touch her tear-streaked cheeks as bits and pieces of her horrible nightmare flashed crazily inside her head. Her body trembles uncontrollably and she wrapped her arms about herself and closed her eyes to take deep breaths.

Suddenly the door banged open as Ania, her maid, came bursting in. She looked extremely excited, but the woman was a bit taken aback once she saw her. Ania, she died in her dream along with the rest of the Kalvica house. "Lady Vienna! Crown Prince Fallon has come!" She says her eyes sparkling. Vienna's head snaps up, her eyes round from shock and her heart beating rapidly. Why on Earth was he here? Could it be like her dream? Was he here to take her to her execution? She shakes her head.

No. Calm down. Think rationally. Ania still lives and apparently he was not a King but a prince. But wait. She frowns suddenly, this still seemed like she should remember something. "Lady Vienna?" Ania asked with a tilt of her head. "Ania, what year is this?" She asked. Ania looked at her as if she had hit her head, "it's the year 593, Lady Vienna." Ania suddenly covers her mouth with her hand a look of horror on her face. "Does the lady not remember? Is it possible that you lost your memories?" She asked.

Vienna shakes her head while still in thought, Her dream was way too vivid to ignore, even now she can still feel the blade of that sword that executed her. The fear that washed over her before it made contact with her neck. What if...this was no mere nightmare to ignore? Maybe she was overthinking things? "Ania, I will go down to greet the Crown Prince." She says standing.

Her choice was made, because there was something familiar about this situation that she could not ignore. It was best to greet him and see why she felt this feeling. "Yes Lady Vienna."

Meanwhile the Crown Prince sat before the masters of the Kalvica House; Lord Grendor Kalvica and his wife Mistress Roschell Kalvica. "For what reason would the crown Prince come visit my daughter?" Lord Grendor asked the Crown Prince. "I just came to thank her for saving me. If not for your daughter I would have died." He says. Lord Grendor stares at him for a bit before slapping his leg as he burst into laughter, "I see! Sounds like my daughter! Always so quick to save a life!" He roars. His green eyes glowed proudly as Vienna made her way into the sitting room.

Her parents sat with Crown Prince Fallon, seeing them was almost as though she haven't seen them in a long time. "Ah, speaking of our daughter, here she is!" Her mother says with a smile. Both her parents were beautiful people, especially her mother. Their golden hair and green eyes shined brightly and did not match her jet black hair and blue eyes. She lifts the hem of her dress a bit and curtsies swiftly, "greetings to his Highness Crown Prince Fallon." She says.

Crown Prince Fallon stands. "please, there's no need to be so respectful. I'm only here to thank you." He says. Vienna straightens and curiously stares up at him, thank her? "Did I do something to be thanked for?" She asked. He makes his way over to her and suddenly lifts her hand to lightly kiss the back. She really wanted to snatch it back, the feeling of utter disgust washing over her. Instead she forces a smile as he straightens to look at her, "you did, you saved my life." He answers.

She...saved him? Vienna frowns as she tries to rack her brain for any such thing. Suddenly a flash of a memory entered her mind. That's right, she did save him. And the reason why she felt that there was something she was forgetting was because this was when she fell in love with this crazy bastard. Her nightmare, was not a nightmare at all. This scene made everything she doubted clear. The feeling of dread and fear began to rise inside her again.

She felt sick all of a sudden. Her mother, who noticed the look on her face risen to her feet, "Vienna, are you alright?" She asked grabbing her arm. No, she wasn't. it's clear as day that this was her reality. This man that she loved in her supposed dream will stab her in the back four years in the future. And it also meant that she reincarnated, which would explain everything that she was feeling. "I think it's time for you to leave." Her father suddenly says, "seems our daughter is not feeling well."

The Crown Prince nods, "I understand, please send word once she feels better." He says with a bow before leaving the household. "Vienna, come on. You should rest some more." Her mother says leading her back to her bedroom. Ania came out holding some blankets, "huh. is Lady Vienna not feeling well?" She asked. "Yes, go make her some warm tea, I'm sure after that and a nap that she'll be alright." her mother says as they enter the room.

Vienna had been returned to her bedroom. Before her parents left the room they made sure she was comfortable. Once they left, everything until now finally came back to her. All the memories of the events that will happen in four years. If that is so, then that means she need to find a way to not only stop the upcoming events from happening but she must take revenge. The only way to do so was to change the way she saw things. "If this is how I die, then I promise you in my next life, I refuse to ever love you." those were the words she spoke before she died.

She also thought it was better to become the villainess than die like that. And that promise she will not break. For now on, the ones who will witness her kindness will be the ones who are on her side!
