Haaa...
Haaa...
Vienna was damn near out of breath, it was just as she thought fighting this monster was no easy task. It was almost as if she hardly left a dent on the thing. The creature swings at her again, looks like she'll have to train this body more in the future. She turns to the sudden crowd, "anyone have a sword I can borrow?" She asked. No one stepped forward, they were too scared. Honestly, it's amazing that they were still here. A man with a covered face steps forward to hand over a sword, "here you go miss." He says without hesitation.
Vienna gripped the handle and faced the monster head on once again. It felt great to finally be able to hold a sword, especially since she never got to in her past life. The man she came to rescue stood to the side, it was as though he was frozen. Though she knew this guy had some serious martial arts skill, which he's trying to keep hidden. It would be great if he would at least step in a little bit. Oh well. She'll handle it with one strike with this sword.
The monster was already coming for her, it was raging and now blindly swinging in her direction. She blows out a breath and draws back her sword, as the monster's arm comes down she uses that moment to strike. An opening appears to show the monster's core location, she takes her sword and swings directly towards the now revealed chest and strikes. The minute she hit the core the monster didn't have time to react as it was already curling up and the core was extracted from its body.
Around her the people began to applaud her, though honestly she didn't do this for them but for the guy she's trying to make hers. She tosses the sword over to the masked man and turned to the dirty guy who was suddenly on his knee. "Mistress, if you don't mind perhaps I can stay by your side?" He asked hand on his chest and not making eye contact. She hadn't expected him to offer over himself, so it actually worked out in the end. But first, she must make him understand that she will not tolerate lies or dishonesty.
"You may rise." She says, she steps closer to him and whispers, "but if you want to stay beside me, one should show their true self as well." She mutters before walking past him towards the estate. She noticed his flinch, but decided that it was good that he understood,
*Glances back*
"So, are you coming? We have to get you cleaned up, don't we?" She tells him. He bows while her back is turned, "yes my Lady." He says before following her. And that was how Lady Vienna gained her right hand man, a very talented jack of all trades.
Meanwhile Somewhere amongst the Crowd
A very good looking older man sits nearby, he had long flowing hair that was jet black and grey eyes that showed matureness. This man's aura was that of a beast, and even his right hand servant fears the wrath of his Master. The masked man returns with the sword and while on his knees holds the sword out with his head bowed. "Master." He says as the sword was extracted from his hand. "Good job, though it's a shame she didn't keep it." The Master says with a small smile.
It really was a shame that he couldn't see more of her skills, it seems if he wishes for more he will have to go back home. It's been too long, almost seven years hasn't it? He chuckles to himself, his right hand man staring at him with a confused expression written all over his face. "Juno, let's get ready to return to the Kalvica household. I haven't seen my little niece in a while." He tells his servant .
Juno bows again, "yes Master." He answers before disappearing.
Kalvica House
"And this is where you will be staying." Vienna says as she and the new addition to the household came upon a room on the second floor. The new servant was staring at his new mistress with all kinds of thoughts running through his mind. "If you don't mind me asking, Mistress. Earlier, what did you mean by that?" He asked. She turned to him a look that was menacing enough to make him want to cower, but if he want to stay by her side he should show his backbone.
He swallows, but he also knew that showing a little fear was a good idea. "You're quite daring, aren't you." She mutters. Suddenly she smirked, "I'll tell you since I've started to like you." She says. He blows out a breath of relief, "thank you, Mistress." He says with a slight bow. "You know martial arts, right?" She asked her eyes narrowing a bit. He flinched; he had a feeling that this Mistress could not be fooled. If he lied then he may lose his life. He had a feeling that she already knew the answer. "I do, Mistress." He says.
"It's as I thought. If you had told me no, then I would have no choice but to kill you. If you choose to betray me, your Mistress that is." She says. "If that is all, go wash up and meet me downstairs in the sitting area." She tells him before leaving him alone in the servant room. It seems that he had chosen correctly, a Mistress like that is worth it, he can tell she'll become quite strong.
