''Alright you too. Look at how the kids are staring at you. What an embarrassment.'' Mrs Wilson said as she grabbed both men at the back of their neck.
Indeed, the three teens who were used to seeing their parents poised and well behaved, were shocked to see them act so immature.
''Darlings, don't care about them. Come, give your godmom a hug.'' Mrs Wilson extended her arms wide in a sign of welcome.
Avi and Ivy were too stunned to react to Mrs Wilson but their mom didn't give them much option. Mrs Gracia shoved her kids towards her bestfriend upon noticing their tranced state.
''Hello godmom.''
''Hel... hello god... godmom.''
Unlike Avi who could speak without a problem, Ivy struggled to form words. Thinking that the woman who called herself her godmom was Lyle's mom, Ivy felt very weird. As if she was meeting her mother in law for the first time.
What the hell! What's with this weird thought.
On the other hand, Mrs Wilson understood things as soon as she saw the two pups snuggle up to Ivy earlier. Only she knew how much she wanted to see the girl whom her ever single son liked. On the way, she had prayed for so long to meet her and to her pleasant surprise, God took action so fast. If this was really the case, she was adamant to start praying for her son's marriage quickly. Who knows, she might just get it fulfilled very soon.
''Aw... my godkids are so cute unlike that little devil. He doesn't even smile much.'' Though Mrs Wilson put her words as such, she made sure to seat Ivy next to her son who had previously come closer to her due to the two childish men's action.
''Say Avi and Ivy, what is your hobby? Do you have anything you like in particular?''
''These two? Don't even ask. One likes to stay coupled up in his room to study while other...'' Mrs Gracia stopped herself as her face turned pale. The Gracia family had a weird look on their face as if they touched something that shouldn't be touched.
Ofcourse, after years of friendship, the Wilson parents understood something was wrong so Mrs Wilson joined in to clear the air.
''Lyle, why don't you buy some ice cream for us. Ivy, can you help him with his direction."
''Sure thing godmom. Don't worry. I'll take good care of him.'' Ivy pasted that same smile she used at school to keep everyone at bay.
