In the middle of a valley formed between two mountains, the figures of two beastmen were seen moving at an impressive speed while avoiding the blows of the monster in front of them.
The beast had a humanoid form, although no one would mistake it for a human due to its white skin and its 2.5 meters tall. In his hand the monster had a club that he raised above his head preparing to hit the two insects in front of him. This monster is a terrible brainless beast that devours everything that is smaller than it. An ogre.
"Get down!!!" the smaller of the two figures said to her partner.
"Hahaha, it's not worth it. Lion Roar!!!" yelled John. Behind him the image of a huge lion roared at an ogre.
The most surprising thing is that the ogre's blow became weaker and it seemed that he wanted to flee.

When the club landed before John's shield it only made him slide back a few cm before the club stopped dead.
John had blocked the blow.
Dammit! Why don't you ever listen to me? " Jake said before a huge cheetah appeared behind him and his speed increased enormously.

Apart from the club and an old cloth to cover the ogre there was nothing of value, even so this did not discourage them, what they had done deserved a celebration.
"Man, I can't believe that old book had such awesome content" said John remembering what happened before.
"Well, now we know why the hunters insisted in pursue us for days" said Jake while nodding to himself.

The power is in the bloodline each beastmen subspecies has a different bloodline which can be awakened with the help of the methods described in the book.
The benefits of awakening the bloodline are far more than they both had imagined.
With each percentage of bloodline awakened you can not only learn different abilities of your bloodline but also get a great increase in your stats.
For example, Jake is a subspecies of cheetah when he awakened the bloodline, he not only gained an ability but also increased his agility enormously. On the other hand, John also increased his strength and endurance to higher levels than before being a subspecies of Lion.
Obviously, the increase in stats is related to the subspecies that you are, the same happens with the skills you learn.
Cheetah Rush allows Jake to increase his speed for a short time to more than double what he was previously, while Lion Roar has an intimidating effect on John's opponents by weakening them and taking them carelessly.
Still, they both knew that the true potential of the bloodline had yet to be discovered as they had only awakened 1%.
