When Marti got home there was no one there.
Marti's parents work until very late and usually cannot see each other. The only exception is when something extraordinary happens like when she was called by the principal for breaking a window at school.
Of course, Marti did not do it. It was those three idiots who are dedicated to harassing Marti.
Yet no one spoke on his behalf.
Marti has no friends at school and it has always been difficult for him to maintain contact with people, that was the reason why the trio of criminals chose him as their prey.
The harassment of Marti is not something new, in fact the whole school knows it, teachers and students alike.
Some kind soul may be wondering why no one helps them even if they don't get along. The reason is very simple: normal people don't think like that.
Before doing anything, most people calculate the benefits of their actions, if there are no benefits, nobody does anything. It seems cruel but it is reality.
The leader of the criminals who abuse Marti is the son of the vice principal of the school, that is why no one helps Marti, because he is not worth it.
Even if they successfully defend him, none of those three idiots will receive any punishment with serious consequences, instead the person who helped Marti will be isolated from the rest of the students and teachers, and will become her new victim.
Who would want to have such a destiny?
Don't think it's an exaggeration, this has happened before.
On that occasion it was Marti who defended the boy that he was being harassed. Marti saw how his own friends and people he trusted turned their backs on him out of fear of those three.
That is why the other students ignore him. Marti was not the victim, he was the 'hero'.
When the fate that awaited anyone who opposed those three was seen, the others began to `not see' their actions, and those who could not bear it made excuses; nothing serious has happened so it doesn't matter if things continue like this, that will help you to get stronger, ...
And for what happened to the person who was harassed before Marti, he reached a point where he couldn't take it anymore and changed of school.
Marti has already given up any hope of being rescued. Marti has given up on the real world.
He climbed the stairs of his house to the second floor, got to her room and closed the door.
There wasn't much in the room, just a table, a chair, a bookcase, a bed and… a capsule.
...
In Green town in a small inn near the main square where official announcements are given a person was in a dark room looking at a certain point while she was silent.
Knock knock
"I´VE TOLD YOU TO LEAVE ME ALONE" shouted the person from inside the room.
"Sara, It's me Tom. Can I enter?" said the voice from outside.
"... Come in" Sara said after a pause.
When Tom came into the room Tom didn't say anything, he just looked at Sara and sat next to her.
After a while one of the two said hoarsely:
"He's gone"
"Mmm," Sara replied as she nodded.
"I'm sure he will do well."
"Mmm" was all he received as a reply.
Tom sighed and looked at Sara who was standing next to her.
Tom has known Sara since they were children, although at first glance she may seem like a very open and expressive person in reality she is one of the most sensitive people in town.
When they were children, Sara was a very shy girl and it was difficult for her to make friends, while other children played in the streets, she used to stay in her room playing with her dolls. On the few occasions when Sara went out to run errands for her father, she always tried to get back as soon as possible.
It wasn't until she met Tom that she began to open up to the other children, so Tom can be considered as the person who knows Sara best.
Although Sara had her head lowered and it was not possible to see beyond her nose it was obvious the expression she was making of her by how her shoulders were shaking slightly at times. So Tom did the only thing he could do to cheer him up.
Tom was going to be Tom.
"THAT IDIOT! HOW DARE TO LEAVE WITHOUT SAYING GOODBYE TO ME!!! " yelled Tom in what sounded like a fit of fury.
Sara quickly raised her head upon hearing this.
"Hey? Didn't we say goodbye at the party? What do you mean?" Sara asked without noticing that she was talking like Allan.
"NOT ENOUGH, NOT ENOUGH, AS IF THAT WAS ENOUGH, JUST TALK TO US FOR A WHILE!!" He continued saying Tom "DOES ALLAN REALLY THINK I'M GOING TO CONSIDER THAT A FAREWELL?"
"That's right!" Sara said as her eyes began to light up "How can you think the party was enough? Obviously he should have said goodbye as she should"
"If Allan thinks he is going to get rid of us that way he is wrong" said Tom "The next time we see him he will find out what is good"
Although Sara was not aware of it, her tone became more cheerful and little by little her sadness was fading.
"Are you sure?" Sara questioned him in a teasing tone "Allan is moving very fast, the next time you see each other he will probably be better than you"
"How is that possible? It would take ten years without me doing anything for there to be a minimal chance that that would be true" said Tom in a contemptuous tone, but secretly he thought about increasing the daily training so that this does not happen.
Little by little the conversation took a more cheerful tone and before realizing it, laughs could be heard throughout the inn.
"Tom"
"what?"
"I have decided. I want to learn to fight "said Sara as she looked Tom in the eyes
"WHAT? WHY? " Tom asked alarmed. Learning to fight is not a joke, if one really wants to learn how to fight it will take years of teaching and hard work.
"I don't want the next time Allan comes to ask for help that he won't be able to do anything," Sara said in a firm tone.
"Is this for the wolf?" Tom asked.
Although Sara didn't say anything Tom knew he was right.
When Tom described to Allan the true power of his prey Allan began to think of ways to hunt him down. Finally, he asked Tom if he would be willing to help him.
Sara couldn't sleep that night. All she could do during the night they were away was nervously wait for news.
Even though Sara didn't say anything Tom knew that Sara couldn't bear the frustration of being a burden.
But what about your dream? You didn't want to be a master cook? "
"Who says I can't do both?" Sara said.
Tom was speechless.
Who said that one could not be a master in two arts? Common sense said it.
Even so Tom did not refute the idea of Sara, while learning two arts is not realistic, learning to defend yourself is not bad.
Also if Tom teaches Sara that will mean more opportunities to be with her.
However, before planning anything, it is necessary to make one thing clear.
"Sara what you are asking is impossible. There is no one in this town who is a master in combat, not even Instructor Berris. If you want to become a master cook then you need to focus on getting better at cooking" said Tom firmly.
Sara wanted to refute Tom but she couldn't.
Don't think that being a cook is easy. Anyone can cook, but to be a master takes years of study and countless hours in the kitchen.
It is necessary to know that there are people who do not reach the level of master even training all their lives, dividing your time to learn two completely different things will make you not get any.
"But ... if you want to learn to defend yourself then I won't say anything, even if I ..."
Tom was cut off mid-way when suddenly Sara hugged him.
"Thank you, thank you" Sara said as she hugged Tom tightly.
When she realized what she had done to her Sara she turned completely red and separated from Tom quickly.
"T-this"
"SHUT UP! IT'S NOT WHAT IT SEEMS" Sara yelled before running out of her room.
Tom stared in the direction of the door when he suddenly reacted.
"HAHAHAHA" And he started laughing as a smile covered his face.
