(Throughout the chapters the point of view switches between Hades and Persephone. Their name will be at the top of the chapter when it switches.)
Hades.
I scratched my head. All of this work is so exhausting. I still have to sign off on Nicholas's agreement. Nicholas is a demon that lives in the underworld as well. He is asking to be one of the main soul advisors of the River of Styx. The River of Styx is the river where souls go, the one that we passed over when we first came down here. Will Nicholas even be a good advisor? It is a very stressing job. Well, I suppose I can call him in for a interview. I don't want him anywhere near Persephone though. He's a slimy bastard, if he gets his eyes on her who knows what he will do.
"Maxton?" I summoned the butler.
"Yes sir?" Maxton scrambled into the room.
"I would like you to schedule a meeting with Nicholas tomorrow."
"Of course sir." He replied, scurrying out of the room.
I need to go find Persephone, and tell her she will need to hide tomorrow. Although, it is quite late at night she may be sleeping. There's no hurt in checking though. Walking down the corridor I stopped in front of Persephone's room.
*creakkk*
Opening the door I noticed that the lights were still on. She was snoring on the bed, Cerberus sleeping on her like a little baby. I sighed. Does she realize that she's torturing me? I don't think she knows that after watching her since she was fifteen I really do love her. I know her nicknames, I have seen all the times she has cried. I did her a favor by bringing her here. She isn't lonely anymore. She claims to hate me but I know she will love me eventually. I had gotten so lost in thought I didn't realize she had woken up and was staring at me.
"Why are you in here?" She questioned, wiping her eyes.
"Sorry, I was looking for Cerberus." I replied.
She nodded, "Ok."
I left shutting the lights off and then quietly shutting the door.
Huh. Cerberus never has liked anybody but me before. I guess it's no surprise, Persephone is special.
