Xue and her husband, Ren, walked out of the kitchen to prepare for the night. It was time to put Du to bed and Xue, honestly, was very tired. She needed to hit the bed as well. It had been an eventful day with Su and her drama.
But, deep down, Xue didn't blame her friend. She decided to have a lengthy talk with Su the next day before she would leave for her house. Xue was determined to understand what was going on with her friend. These recent screams and little complaints here and there were alien to Xue. She didn't know this side of Su Na at all.
Xue's mind drifted to when Su had lost her parents. Su Na didn't even act out like she was doing now. It made Xue Jing very confused.
Xue was also grateful and happy that Ren's anger had dissipated and they were back in good, sweet terms. Whenever she and Ren argued, Xue usually hated the atmosphere in the house.
"Hey, Du! Come here.. let us have a bath and go to bed", Xue purred.
