When she got up to walk, Jin Liwei spotted her and his eyes went to follow her everywhere she went. On her way, Li Fei found Liu Han who blocked her way. "What do you think you're doing?" asked Li Fei. "I wonder for how long you're going to pretend being a good girl. I didn't get the chance to tell you what we used to do with your ex fiancee," she bragged but Li Fei seemed unfazed and replied, " You can have him for all I care."
Liu Han was displeased because she couldn't make her feel jealous and she said," Tell me, whose bed are you warming these days to have such expensive clothes? Don't tell me that you replaced modeling with prostitution?" "Look Liu Han, whatever I do with my life is none of your business. Live your life and I will live mine. I have far more important things to deal with than waste my time exchanging words with you. If you will excuse me and get out of my way," said Li Fei.
Liu Han wasn't planning on letting her go that easily. She had to prove to the whole world that she was the same arrogant girl.
A wicked thought crossed her mind when she saw a servant with a tray full of drinks and she called for her. Picking up a glass, she told her to go but she intentionally placed her leg forward to make the girl trip and fall down with everything. She looked around to make sure no one had seen and she shouted saying, "Did you have to do that to the girl, Li Fei?" "What are you doing?" Li Fei looked at her confused.
"You decided to push the girl just because she didn't hear when you called her?!! Why are you so rude and arrogant?!" she raised her voice higher. This time, people looked in their direction and they saw the two women standing then a girl who was on the floor with spilled drinks and broken glasses.
Li Fei was utterly perplexed. She didn't expect that Liu Han could go this far. Mr and Mrs Yan reached the scene since they were the hosts and the other guests started gathering around the women to see what had happened.
Jin Liwei who had been seeing everything stood up and went to the scene followed by Jing Yue. "What is happening here ladies?" Mrs Yan asked and Liu Han was quick to say," Mrs Yan, this girl is so rude and arrogant. I called the waitress to get a drink and while she was leaving, Li Fei called her and when the girl didn't hear her, she reacted by pushing her." All the guests looked at Li Fei who defended herself saying, " She's lying. She called the girl to get a drink and after, I saw the girl tripping. I didn't do anything." Considering her past reputation, everyone believed Liu Han and they started commenting negatively on Li Fei.
She didn't bother to explain anymore because she knew that they wouldn't believe her.
When Liu Han saw that the men she's been dying to speak to have arrived, she forced tears and said," I think she did it intentionally to ruin my dress because she's been saying that I dressed this way to attract attention which is not true." People started pitying her and a man gave her a handkerchief to wipe off the wine. How she wished that it was one of the two men who had given her the handkerchief. She looked at them with tears in her eyes and she said," Mr Jing Yue, Mr Jin Liwei, please help me. I don't think a person like her should be here."
Both men looked at her unfathomably and a while later, Jin Liwei stepped forward. Almost everyone was waiting to hear what he had to say.
With his hands inside the pockets, he said," You're right." This made her beam in happiness. Having him on her side was a way of getting a chance to talk to him. She was going to go to him after here so as to thank him and from there, they were going to have a proper conversation. Li Fei on the other hand was hurt that he sided with her but she had to remind herself that she was nothing to him.
Still looking at Liu Han, he said," People like you don't deserve to be here." "What do you mean Mr Jin Liwei?" she was getting confused. "I saw everything. It's you who made the girl trip with your leg," he stated and the crowd was filled with gasps. There's no way Jin Liwei a reputable man would tell a lie, and his word was final. The guests started looking at her with mockery and disgust.
Her face reddened in embarrassment and she said," Mr Jin Liwei! I didn't do anything like that. You must have seen wrongly, Mr Jin Liwei. She is the one who pushed her." Jin Liwei looked at her and said," Okay. If we check the footage and we find out that you're in wrong, are you willing to take any punishment given to you?" Everyone looked at her waiting for her reply. They all just hoped that she accepts her mistake sooner because they knew that the punishment wasn't going to be simple at all. Liu Han on the other hand regretted why she had involved them in the commotion. Unbeknownst to her, Jin Liwei was already going to get involved since the issue involved Li Fei.
When she didn't reply anything, Jin Liwei called Wang Mel. "Get the footage for twenty minutes back." "Yes, Young Master," he replied before leaving.
Liu Han saw that there was no escape and she said," I did it. But it was not intentional. I made her trip by mistake." "Why did you say that it was Li Fei then?" asked Mrs Yan. "I'm sorry," she could only say. "Guards! Escort her out!" said Mr Yan and she was thrown out of the party. Her plan had backfired on her. She got on the bad side of Mr Jin Liwei and Jing Yue, she hyped that Li Fei and she also got thrown out of the party.
The party hosts and a few guests apologized to Li Fei and the crowd slowly began to dispatch.
Li Fei noticed Jin Liwei glare at her before leaving the scene and it made her wonder if he was angry because she had dragged him in her mess.
