Never in his life did Zeus imagine that when he created this place he would one-day step foot in it. It was supposed to be one of those things in his life that were out of sight and therefore out of mind but decades later here he was.
After the prophecy was made Zeus had a hard time deciding what the best course of action was. His initial instincts told him to just eliminate the threat where it stood for a few reasons. The first was because it was his prerogative as the king to do as he pleased, the second being that it was his responsibility as a ruler to make sure his kingdom was protected from anything even at personal cost to him. The third had been him wanting to use the boys as examples to those that would commit treason against him.
