Outside the hospital room, the two parents were pacing back and forth, impatient to find out if their daughter was okay or not. Their frustration at not being allowed to be inside when the examination was off the charts and it certainly did not help that they had the two detectives sitting there waiting for answers too.
So much had happened between Xanthippeia showing up out of nowhere that everyone had a difficult time wrapping their heads around it. Everyone that had to was informed of the latest developments and the lead detective on the case insisted on speaking to Xanthippeia even though this was no longer a missing person case. The fact of the matter is that a lot of people had been searching for her, hours and hours of police work dedicated to finding her that people needed an explanation as to how she resurfaced. The family and family friends were all just relieved to hear she was alive and okay.
