Chapter 6 - Kingdom

Dame was dazed in his car after he went back and made a scene at the facility. He was not embarrassed at all. Who cares about the image when your loved one is dead? He could not accept that Allen was dead. Regrets do come in when everything is over.

Allen must have been so mad at him. Yet, what did he do? He disappointed him. Why did he die? Dame knew his lovers' patience. Even if he was so hurt he would never resort to killing himself. Everything is so suspicious. He clenched his fist and drove to his penthouse. For some reason, his mind is so clear. Recalling every bit of information he had on his dear lover.

Allen was silent. Does not interact much with people but he is good and polite. When they were children he smiled a lot. He remembered that he changed after he was kidnapped. He lost his mother to save him and his family treated him badly.

Many times, Allen was wronged, and all of them ignored it and did not even bother to apologize. Well, he was not that different from them. He also never stood up for Allen but he was always consistent when he comforts him. In the end, he proved again that he was a hopeless coward.

The troubles Allen had were always shared with him. So, he had a point of view on both sides. All of it was orchestrated by the family members. None of it was done by a third party.

Aside from that, Allen had a good reputation at school and he was quite well-liked even though he does not always converse with the crowd. Rumors sprung up from time to time but it was ignored as Allen though reclusive manage to remain under everyone's eyes.

Everything that Allen went through was mainly at home. There were no events at school that made Allen in a position of conflict. They can't find a loophole on him too as his routine was shockingly very consistent from home, school, and his house.

No matter how he thinks of it, the one who benefitted the most was the youngest, Allan. He was the only person that has a connection with him both home and school. Well aware of Allan's multi-purpose masks, it was not even acceptable to make an exception of him in this case.

As soon as he arrived he went to Allen's studio. He started to reminiscence about their moments together. They were in a three-year relationship and was one of the reasons why he could not tell his parents was that they have an eight-year age gap. How could his parents accept their relationship?

He sat down and looked around. He used to make music in here because he can't play at home. He says that his family did not like him holding instruments. Even his guitar was smuggled inside by a servant to make sure no one in the family knew about it. He only played in his room and jokingly said that he must thank his father for making the room soundproof.

He opened Allen's computer and played a song that he made for him on his birthday. He remembered how much he liked it and made a proposal to include it in a movie made under his company. At first, he wanted to refuse and said that song was made for him. After thorough convincing, he finally agreed to make a new one. He made a spectacular one befitting to the plot of the movie. The track became a hit and he published an album under the alias name "Lark".

That was around 2 years ago. He helped him rise in the music industry while keeping his identity a secret. He remembered how much Allen trembled upon the thought of his father discovering him. He covered up everything and even his contracts were handled by him and Allen's lawyer.

Now that he thought of it he called Gilbert Wilson. He was the former lawyer of Allen's mother. As the phone rang, we walked out of the studio, went to the counter, and drank some brandy. When the other side picked up, he could already tell that the other party already heard Allen's death. His voice was a bit hoarse and sniffs from time to time.

"I guess I don't need to tell you right?" he said.

"Yes." Then silence. The both of them still could not accept it. No, they just refuse to do so. It was equivalent to accepting that Allen will be from now on will become just a memory from the past.

"It's hard but business first. Did he left something behind?" knowing Allen, he is sure that Allen must have left something behind.

"A large number of assets, yes. He already left a will for it long ago." Gilbert must have been shocked when he received the will.

"For now, make sure to protect. Though people think he is just an unloved child of the Alba household his value was still that of a billionaire. Make sure siblings do not have access to it. Well, it's not like they knew he had so much anyway. His mother must have been an oracle. She knew her son would be treated badly and left him an entire music kingdom for her successor. Even until death, your madam is still that of a queen."

Gilbert chuckled. Susan Moore is indeed one. People all over the world only knew her as a legendary musician, a wife of a wealthy businessman, a mother towards four excellent children. Little did they know, that between her and her husband, she was the rich man. She also left some assets to her other children but she chose Allen as her successor. Such a great mother knew that her son was a genius and will soon take after her. So, before she left, she gave him an entire music conservatory that was passed down from generation to generation. However, such excellent people died. The bird that is full of wonders was shot down while rising in flight. With or without foul play he will never allow the child to be taken advantage of.
