Eva POV
We reached back at Max's home but he didn't made an eye to eye contact with me. I felt that maybe u did something wrong but it was necessary. It's ok if he didn't look at me, I know that now he will just think about me. The pack was out getting ready for their work. My eyes searched for Arya but when I saw her, her arms were around Max's shoulders and her head was on his sexy chest. She was hugging him and was completely distracting Max. This is ridiculous, I had just dominated Max's mind but she was interfering my efforts now. However the hug was not long, Max just kept his hand on her waist and pulled her away. He didn't make an eye contact with her either and directly walked into his room.
Arya was looking at ne with a different attitude but something was strange. I suddenly felt my heart ache badly. My chest was aching that j held my chest and cried in excruciating pain as I fell on my knees. That was hurting badly. Arya who wanted to display her domination in front of me noticed me and came running towards me. Being the queen, she called her pack men who helped me get into the room. The ladies gathered around me and my aching heart was throbbing bad and it felt as if someone is twisting my heart. My mind was being compelled by a powerful force and it all lead to one memory in my mind. The words of Noman wrinkled in my mind speaking,
" the devil has taken birth in Eva which is why Eva is powerful".
These voices were roaming in my mind and my heart was aching until I finally understood the thing. I got up all good. The pain simply vanished as if it was never there. The females went out of the door and Arya was still looking at me perplexed. My mind became clear and I felt perplexed too but then Arya questioned me,
" what happened...It seems like you were acting but I saw the real pain", Arya said.
" yes i was in pain but then I solved the witchy puzzle" I said.
" what puzzle?" Arya asked.
" The reason why I am immortal. The person whom I killed is right inside me granting me his powers but yes he won't allow me to love and this is why he humiliated me as a punishments for the cause of trying it in the morning " I said.
" trying what?" Arya asked,
" trying to kiss your mate" I answered looking into her eyes with my piercing gaze as she closed her fist fuming in anger but before she could make a move, the door was opened and in came Max.
" I heard you are not well", he asked as he came near me.
" I am sorry... u shouldn't have made you run so much" he said again.
" it's ok... I am good now and with you,I feel fantastic", I said.
Max came and hugged me. Without saying much he rea had back at the door asking me to take rest. Adding fire to the jealous mate he even asked her to take care of me. That was hilarious and I wanted to laugh at her face but the silent venom proved more precious.
" you are such a bitch... your ex husband just poked you informing you that he is not completely dead and you are here again trying to seduce my mate?, she said.
" well my husband is dead and even is he is somewhere, I will kill him again and about your mate., he doesn't really seem to be enjoying your company. Let him love his life and make him free. Let him himself chose what he wants", I said.
Arya slapped me hard and walked out saying that,
" Max is mine and I will kill you".
I was happy and unhappy both. Now this was indeed a matter of concern because if the devil can still use his powers then he will surely fetch me and rip my heart off. I have to be attentive and find a way to manage this devil's soul in me.....
Place: The Witches Coven in forest.
" the wolves were seen moving around the area where they were restricted your grace ", on switch said.
The old Noman, weak and fragile who was soon about to die nodded,
" Eva is not dead.... she must have lifted the curse"
" how can this be possible... we burnt her down" Lavender spoke.
" yes but I noticed when we didn't find her ashes. I don't feel powerful which means the sacrifice never took place. We have to kill her before the devil pops out again. If the devil arises, he will kill is all for making Eva, his wife suffer " Noman said.
" why will he fight for the woman who killed him" another witch said.
" he loved her... he is harsh but u have felt the love in his eyes for her and I know the devil will surely rise when he will sense that his wife is no more the same", Noman said.
The next moment Noman's body burnt into ashes and the witches collected his ash in a try because he will wake up again within next twenty four hours.
